<div>Setup, operate and maintain the side frame fabrication process in a safe, productive and efficient manner that meets all job specifications, quality requirements and completion dates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
<ul><li>Adjusts, operates, and maintains Piranha side frame punch/shear and the Piranha punch/shear at the backend of the operation.
</li><li>Produces a quality part in a safe and efficient manner while properly using all required personal protective equipment including safety glasses.
</li><li>Maintains equipment by completing all preventative maintenance checks, accurately completing paperwork and performing necessary fluid level and machine adjustments.
</li><li>Demonstrates proficiency in basic shop skills including the ability to accurately read and interpret both metric and English tape measures.
</li><li>Inputs data and uses the Tiger Stop to set punch dimensions.
</li><li>Performs inspection of 4-hole pattern 100% and determines if pattern meets specification.
</li><li>Ability to distinguish between stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum side frames.
</li><li>Identifies when punches are worn and changes out die and punches.
</li><li>Identifies when cutting shears are worn and changes shear.
</li><li>Sharpens punches as needed.
</li><li>Read and interpret Span Tech prints.
</li><li>Demonstrates ability to access and enter job information into Labor Trak.
</li><li>Overtime, weekend work and travel may be required.
</li><li>Complete daily operator production report and other record keeping requirements
</li><li>Perform duties and work in other areas as required &bull; Maintains a clean, orderly and uncluttered work area.

Side Frame Technician

<div>To assemble all styles of chain in a safe, productive and efficient manner that meets all job specifications, quality requirements and completion dates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
<ul><li>Assemble conveyor chains from start to finish;
</li><li>Read, understand, and apply information included in a legend, job work order, and prints
</li><li>In final assembly, install chain and determine flow direction by crossbars.
</li><li>Use hand tools, power tools, and other power equipment required to perform the job.
</li><li>Demonstrates ability to access and enter job information into Labor Trak.
</li><li>Overtime, weekend work and travel may be required.
</li><li>Complete daily operator production report and other record keeping requirements &bull; Travel may be required.
</li><li>Perform duties and work in other areas as required &bull; Maintains a clean, orderly and uncluttered work area.
