Core duties and responsibilities<ul><li>Menu and recipe management: Plan and develop menus, create daily specials, and research new ingredients and dishes.</li><li>Food preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, from appetizers to desserts, adhering to recipes and quality standards.</li><li>Kitchen and staff supervision: Oversee kitchen staff, delegate tasks, provide training, and ensure all team members are performing their duties effectively and on time.</li><li>Inventory and cost management: Monitor stock levels, order supplies, inspect deliveries, and manage food costs to minimize waste.</li><li>Sanitation and safety: Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and manage equipment maintenance.</li><li>Quality control: Ensure all dishes meet high standards for taste, quality, and presentation before being served.</li></ul>Key skills and qualifications<ul><li>Culinary expertise: Advanced knowledge of cooking, baking, and pastry techniques.</li><li>Leadership: Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team.</li><li>Time management: Excellent ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Adaptability: Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once.</li><li>Communication: Strong communication skills to work with kitchen staff, front-of-house, and customers.</li><li>Organizational skills: Experience with kitchen equipment, menu planning, and inventory management.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: Up to AED2,300.00 per month
