Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. You&rsquo;ll play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and code-compliant solar electrical work across residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Install, wire, and commission solar PV systems (roof and ground-mounted) and battery storage systems</li><li>
Troubleshoot and repair solar electrical systems</li><li>
Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and system schematics</li><li>
Ensure compliance with NEC and local codes</li><li>
Test systems for performance and safety</li><li>
Collaborate with installation crews and project managers</li><li>
Maintain accurate records of work performed</li><li>
Provide excellent customer service when on-site</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>
Journeyman license strongly preferred</li><li>
Proven experience with solar PV systems (2+ years preferred)</li><li>
Proven experience with battery installations (Tesla/Enphase experience a plus)</li><li>
Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols</li><li>
Ability to work independently and in a team environment</li><li>
Comfortable working on rooftops and ladders</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license and clean driving record</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):<ul><li>
NABCEP certification</li><li>
OSHA 10/30 certification</li></ul>
