Responsibilities and Duties:<ul><li>Design, develop, and simulate mechanical components and systems.</li><li>Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and technical drawings.</li><li>Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and stress analyses.</li><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, product development, and R&amp;D.</li><li>Select materials and components that align with design requirements.</li><li>Optimize designs for efficiency, cost, and manufacturability.</li><li>Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during production or testing phases.</li><li>Stay up to date with new technologies, industry trends, and best practices.</li><li>Assessing a design brief to gauge the design requirements</li><li>Conducting and/or using research on user experience and needs, current market trends and general functionality</li><li>Developing solutions that solve user problems</li><li>Determining whether a design solution is user-friendly, cost-effective and environmentally friendly</li><li>Creating multiple iterations of design prototypes using computer-aided design tools</li><li>Conducting rigorous usability tests and modifying the product based on the test results</li><li>Evaluating design solutions against industry standards and regulations</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).</li><li>Proven experience in design engineering, preferably in [specific industry].</li><li>Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA).</li><li>Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.</li><li>Knowledge of simulation tools (e.g., FEA, CFD) is a plus.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Strong communication skills for collaboration and reporting.</li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From AED4,500.00 per monthWork Location: In person
