As the Paint Lead, you will be responsible for training and developing the Paint Department, delegating work assignments, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities. You must have the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization, as well as company clients and vendors.
What does the Paint Lead do at SpecSys?<ul><li>
Ensure that departmental productivity targets are met to meet customer requirements</li><li>
Promote and enforces compliance of safety policies and procedures</li><li>
Drive company vehicles between company locations picking or delivering product</li><li>
Provide daily work direction to paint personnel</li><li>
Approve employee time cards</li><li>
Coordinate orders with management and purchasing department for paint / shop supplies</li><li>
Ensure QC processes and procedures are adhered to</li><li>
Maintain accurate equipment maintenance and repair logs</li><li>
Coordinate equipment repairs as needed</li><li>
Conduct employee performance reviews and coach employees</li><li>
Hazardous Waste Management Training</li><li>
Inventory Control</li><li>
Waste Control</li><li>
Provide training to paint personal</li><li>
Document paint usage</li><li>
Maintain sand blasting and paint equipment</li><li>
Transfer work orders to locations</li></ul>
What are we looking for in a quality candidate for Paint Lead?<ul><li>
A detailed understanding of paint processes and shop capabilities</li><li>
Ability to read and understand written information</li><li>
A basic understanding of computer software, such as Word and Excel</li><li>
Able to identify problems and review information</li><li>
5+ years of industrial paint experience or an Auto Body degree</li><li>
Can lift up to 50 lbs.</li><li>
Able to be on their feet for 8+ hours a day</li><li>
OR any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance</li></ul>

As a Fabrication and Machinist Lead, your primary responsibility is the daily supervision of all fabrication operations within the given facility.
What does the Fabrication and Machinist Lead do at SpecSys?<ul><li>
Provide daily work directions to fabrication personnel</li><li>
Developing employee performance review documentation
</li><li>Documenting any workplace related injuries and communicating with Safety Director</li><li>
Coordinate orders with management and purchasing department for steel / shop supplies</li><li>
Accurately schedule, and expedite the use of labor, machines, and materials in the fabrication of parts.</li><li>
Identify machine run speeds for accurate scheduling of material fabrication.</li><li>
Communicate accurate parts sequences with shop personnel.</li><li>
Ensure that quality control processes are followed during the various stages of fabrication.</li><li>
Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints to ensure products are fabricated correctly</li><li>
Ability to understand and willingness to follow existing QC processes</li><li>
Coordinate equipment repairs as needed</li><li>
Adhere to established department budgets for tooling</li><li>
Provide input into fabrication and QC process improvements</li><li>
Follow guidelines to arrange objects or actions in a certain order</li><li>
Install equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications.</li><li>
Operate and control equipment. Inspect and evaluate the quality of products</li><li>
Repair machines or systems</li><li>
Detailed knowledge of CNC/NC programming and understanding of geometric tolerances</li><li>
Understanding of computer software such as MS-Word and Excel</li><li>
Employee HR approvals</li></ul>
What are we looking for in a great Fabrication and Machinist Lead?
<ul><li>Accurately reads/interprets blueprints that may include mechanical connections/joints, mechanical assembly prints, hydraulic/pneumatic schematics, electrical wiring diagrams</li><li>
Understanding of and the willingness to follow work order instructions, including signing-off of fabrication department dispatches</li><li>
Detailed knowledge of CNC/NC Programming</li><li>
Can design and construct</li><li>
Has good communication and problem solving skills</li><li>
Is comfortable communicating with management and Human Resources</li><li>
Is able to lift up to 50 lbs.</li><li>
Is able to bend, crawl and be on feet for 8 plus hours per work day</li><li>
Has any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance</li></ul>
