Job Title: HR Generalist
 
Department: Human Resources
 
Reports To: HR Manager

FLSA: Exempt

Description: This position will include the execution of a broad range of human resources responsibilities while providing strong customer service support to employees within a multi-state environment. Requires a strong knowledge of employment law, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture. May carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: Recruitment and onboarding, benefits leave of absence administration, compliance, HR administration. This is a highly visible, high impact position where a successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a decisive role in the future success and growth of the organization.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Conducts recruitment efforts to include job postings, pre-screening, phone interview, and interview scheduling</li>
<li>Develop and revise job descriptions</li>
<li>Facilitate all administrative tasks for new hires, new-hire orientation, and exit interviews, including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and compliance</li>
<li>Manages all leaves of absence, including the coordination of workers comp and disability claims with the carrier.</li>
<li>Deploy and administer programs, policies, practices and processes</li>
<li>Partner with leadership to implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives</li>
<li>Provides guidance to employees and managers on workplace policies, programs, and procedures; Resolves HR inquiries or escalates appropriately</li>
<li>Reviews, tracks, and documents training.</li>
<li>Manages the off-boarding process and ensures that all termination processes are followed
</li><li>Assist with the communication and rollout of updated or new people programs and policies</li>
<li>Conduct audits of various payroll, benefits, or other HR programs
</li><li>Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law, including Federal Contractor requirements.</li>
<li>Responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, including physical and electronic files, HRIS data, and other HR documentation.</li></ul> 


Experience Required:
<ul><li>Minimum 3 years of multi-state HR Generalist experience, preferably in a construction environment.</li>
<li>Experience influencing and building strong relationships with business partners.</li>
<li>Prior experience in benefit and leave of absence communication and administration.</li>
<li>Experience in assisting in creating SOP&rsquo;s related to the employee lifecycle.</li>
<li>Experience with Federal Contractor Requirements</li>
</ul>
Education:
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, or closely related field (preferred)</li>
<li>Professional HR Certification or advanced trainings (preferred)</li>
<li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and have a driving record in good standing</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements:
<ul><li>Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer</li>
<li>Occasional lifting of office supplies (up to 15 lbs.)</li>
</ul>
Work Environment:
<ul>
<li>This position is eligible for remote work opportunities</li>
<li>Travel may be required 5% of the time</li>

Description: The Human Resources Coordinator will serve as a key resource to the HR department, providing administrative support for various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Requirements:
<ul><li>Assist with full-cycle recruiting, including posting job openings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating onboarding</li>
<li>Support administrative HR functions, including compliance tracking, document management, and reporting</li>
<li>Maintain and update HR records, employee files, and HRIS systems</li>
<li>Assist with training coordination, and various HR projects</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations</li>
<li>Other HR-related administrative tasks and special projects as assigned</li>
</ul>
Experience Required:
<ul><li>1&ndash;3 years of experience in HR coordination, recruitment, or administrative HR role</li>
<li>Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and recruitment tools
</li><li>Prior experience in a fast-paced, multi-tasking HR environment with Multi-State locations: CA, WA, OR strongly preferred</li>
</ul>
Skills Required:
<ul><li>Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce</li>
<li>Knowledge of recruitment processes and HR best practices</li>
<li>Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, self-driven mentality</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling HR documents</li>
<li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with candidates, and leadership</li>
<li>Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)</li>
</ul>
Education Required:
<ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s degree in human resources or similar field and or</li>
<li>HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus but not required</li>
<li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and have a driving record in good standing</li>
</ul>
