We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Orthodontic Assistant who enjoys working in a fast-paced specialty practice and thrives as part of a collaborative, patient-centered team. Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>
Assist the orthodontist chairside during procedures including separators, wire changes, and appliance adjustments</li><li>
Prepare teeth for bonding braces and Invisalign attachments</li><li>
Take orthodontic X-rays, digital scans, and impressions</li><li>
Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and appliance care</li><li>
Anticipate doctor needs and ensure efficient patient flow</li><li>
Accurately chart treatment details and patient progress</li><li>
Maintain clinical inventory and stock operatories</li><li>
Follow sterilization and infection control protocols</li><li>
Clean and organize treatment areas between patients</li></ul>
Requirements:

Prior orthodontic assisting experience preferred</li><li>

Education and Experience:<ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>
Minimum three to five (3-5) years&rsquo; experience as a Dental or Orthodontic Technician or relevant experience.</li></ul>
Physical Requirements:<ul><li>
Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.</li><li>
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.</li><li>
Excellent speaking and listening skills, requiring the perception of speech.</li><li>
Must have high finger dexterity to perform duties involving work on the computer.</li></ul>
