About The Job</b></h2><p>
At Spectro Cloud, we are in search of a talented individual to become an integral part of our Engineering team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cutting-edge Palette platform.<br>

As a software engineer within our organization, you will be at the forefront of building an always-on, self-healing, and declarative platform specifically engineered for the management of both infrastructure and applications. You will have the opportunity to contribute significantly by designing, optimizing, and streamlining GoLang-based microservices that serve as the foundation of our platform. Proficiency in Kubernetes is required - it lies at the very heart of our contemporary cloud-native, data center and edge solutions.<br>

Your responsibilities will also include ensuring the seamless operation of our platform through a combination of automation, scripting, and rigorous testing. Our organization places a strong emphasis on code quality, and your commitment to producing clean and efficient code is highly regarded.<br>

Qualifications</b></h2><p>
While we don't expect candidates to check every box, we do look for the following when assessing applicants:</p><ul>

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field</li>
<li>8+ years of software development experience (or 6+ years with a Master's degree)</li>
<li>Expert-level proficiency in Go; familiarity with Java or similar modern languages</li>
<li>Deep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, operators, controllers, and custom resources</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with edge computing platforms and infrastructure management patterns</li>
<li>Strong architectural and design skills for distributed systems and microservices<br>
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native development</li>
<li>Experience with virtual machine usage and integration within software solutions</li>
<li>Understanding of security best practices in edge computing and distributed network environments</li>
<li>Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting systems</li>
<li>Proficiency with Go testing ecosystem, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines for edge deployments</li>
<li>Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and optimization (MongoDB experience preferred)</li>
<li>Advanced proficiency in Linux-based environments and command-line tools</li>
<li>Experience with modern IDEs (such as Cursor or GoLand)</li>
<li>Track record of leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers</li>
<li>Strong communication skills with ability to influence technical direction and drive architectural consensus</li>
<li>Strong technical writing and documentation skills</li>
<li>Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD) preferred</li>
