Job Summary 
The Customer Team Lead is a key leadership role accountable for managing a complex and diverse sales team spanning multiple channels, customers, and/or regions. This leader is responsible for the successful execution of day-to-day operations, ongoing customer management activities, and contributes to long-term strategic planning and execution. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this role requires strong people leadership, strategic insight, and operational rigor - including accountability for performance and budget in service to the GHC Annual Operating Plan (AOP).

Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities 
<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Leadership/ Leadership (40%)</h2>
<ul><li>Lead, manage and develop a team of experienced sales professionals, including 2+ direct salaried reports.</li>
<li>Drive execution of sales plans across departments or regions, ensuring alignment with CPG market dynamics.</li>
<li>Provide strategic input on policy, pricing, customer &amp; channel strategy; influence decisions through experienced counsel in service to delivering a successful AOP.</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain) to deliver commercial objectives and customer requirements for sales, service and execution.</li>
<li>Utilize data-driven insights to guide merchandising effectiveness, store execution, and seasonal program performance.</li>
<li>Monitor performance, coach talent, and make hiring/firing decisions as needed.</li>
<li>Achieve results through subordinate sales professionals and managers and/or supervisors where applicable in conjunction with the Director of Sales.</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">Pricing &amp; Profitability (5%)</h2>
<ul><li>Oversee account P&amp;Ls in assigned territory, ensuring trade investments deliver profitable volume.</li>
<li>Validate recommended pricing strategies and programs aligned with customer and internal financial goals.</li>
</ul> 
Education and Experience Profile 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (MBA preferred).</li>
<li>10+ years of progressive experience in sales or commercial roles, preferably in the Consumer Goods or FMCG industry</li>
<li>Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and manage through direct and indirect reports.</li>
<li>Strong financial acumen and demonstrated ability to operate within and influence a commercial trade budget.</li>
<li>Deep understanding of consumer goods sales cycles, customer relationship management, and market dynamics.</li>
<li>Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong internal and external partnerships.</li>
