<div><div><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></div><br>

Perform powertrain performance analysis, including torque curve understanding, engine/motor power demand, and system behaviour.</li><li>
Run and analyse vehicle simulations across multiple routes/drive cycles under transient and steady-state conditions.</li><li>
Develop, maintain, and optimize MATLAB scripts/functions for:</li><li>
Data processing and automation</li><li>
Physics-based calculations (power, fuel/energy consumption)</li><li>
Visualization and reporting</li><li>
Work with Excel-based models, including:</li><li>
Cost inputs (fuel/energy, maintenance, depreciation, consumables)</li><li>
Operating cycle and utilization assumptions.</li><li>
Comparative evaluations across vehicle/powertrain configurations.</li><li>
Ability to modify, audit and improve TCO spreadsheets.</li><li>
Analyse simulation data to identify trends, correlations, and engineering insights.</li><li>
Contribute to powertrain architecture, component integration understanding and requirement development.</li><li>
Support validation of simulation models against physical testing.</li><li>
Create clean documentation, technical reports and result summaries.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Required Skills &amp; Experience</b></div><ul><li>
Experience Range: 4-6 years of experience in Powertrain, Vehicle Dynamics, or Simulation Engineering.</li><li>
Educational Qualification : Engineering graduate in Electronics Engineering or allied branches.</li><li>
Strong understanding of:</li><li>
Engine/vehicle longitudinal dynamics.</li><li>
Tractive effort, rolling resistance, aerodynamic drag.</li><li>
Torque curves, efficiency maps, fuel consumption fundamentals.</li><li>
Duty cycle analysis.</li><li>
Knowledge of hybrid powertrains or EV energy flow fundamentals.</li><li>
 Hands-on expertise in MATLAB (mandatory):</li><li>
MATLAB scripting, functions, vectorization.</li><li>
Data handling, tables, structures, interpolation, curve fitting.</li><li>
Writing modular and clean engineering code.</li><li>
Experience with simulation tools (any of the following):</li><li>
MATLAB/Simulink, or equivalent.</li><li>
Hands-on experience with Excel and PowerBI.</li><li>
Good Excel formulas, pivot tables, and structured calculations.</li><li>
Understanding of operating costs, fixed vs variable costs, and lifecycle cost modelling.</li><li>
Ability to update, debug, and optimize TCO spreadsheets.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
