Emergency Operations:</p><div><ul><li>
Rapidly respond to emergency incidents</li><li>
Perform fire suppression activities</li><li>
Conduct basic rescue and extrication support operations</li><li>
Assist with patient assessment and movement</li><li>
Operate emergency response equipment</li><li>
Enter and exit response vehicles quickly and safely</li></ul></div><p></p><p><br>
Equipment Handling:</p><div><ul><li>
Lift, carry, push, or pull equipment weighing 50&ndash;75 pounds</li><li>
Move or drag an adult patient weighing up to 220 pounds with assistance</li><li>
Advance charged hose lines and deploy fire extinguishers</li></ul></div><p></p><p><br>
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):</p><div><ul><li>
On and off required personal protective equipment (PPE) in a timely manner</li><li>
Operate while wearing required firefighting PPE</li><li>
Operate in environments with restricted visibility and mobility</li></ul></div><p></p><p><br>
Physical Activity:</p><div><ul><li>
Perform sustained physical activity for 10&ndash;20 minutes or more</li><li>
Bend, kneel, crawl, stoop, twist, reach, and work in confined or awkward positions</li><li>
Climb grades up to 25 degrees</li></ul></div><p></p><p><br>
Cognitive Demands:</p><div><ul><li>
Follow verbal and written instructions</li><li>
Communicate effectively in high-noise environments</li><li>

Environmental Conditions</b></h2><p>
Personnel assigned to this safety sensitive role must be able to safely perform duties under the following environmental conditions:</p><div><ul><li>
Extreme heat or cold</li><li>
Smoke or dust</li><li>

Uneven or unstable surfaces</li><li>
Outdoor weather exposure</li></ul></div></div>
