Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled PHP professional to lead the design, development, and implementation of our Customer Relationship Management platform built with intuitive and innovative technology that will enable client facing teams to attract, convert, and retain more clients on autopilot, so they can earn more without working more. Your strong technical expertise and problem-solving abilities will be essential to driving the success of our projects.Responsibilities:&middot; Design, develop, and maintain robust PHP applications, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.&middot; Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices through training, code reviews, and active participation in planning meetings.&middot; Work closely with engineering, product teams, and vendors to evaluate software solutions and solve integration challenges.&middot; Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for new and existing systems, including UML, architectural, and data flow diagrams.&middot; Provide technical guidance and supervision to our teams. Ensure they follow best practices through training, examples, documentation, by conducting code reviews, and engaging during team planning meetings.&middot; Analyze and optimize application performance and scalability, implementing solutions to address identified challenges.&middot; Work with DevOps engineers to establish robust observability standards and ensure smooth production deployment, and post-production reliability.&middot; Work with vendors to evaluate software and solve integration challenges.Requirements:&middot; Bachelor's degree in computer science or work-related equivalent.&middot; 5+ years of PHP / Laravel software development experience.&middot; 3+ years&rsquo; experience with database technologies such as MySQL, MariaDB&middot; 5+ years&rsquo; front-end experience with Vue and React.&middot; 3+ years&rsquo; production experience with Kubernetes, Helm, AKS.&middot; Familiarity with AWS products: S3, SQS, SNS, MediaConvert&middot; Familiarity writing documentation and creating UML, architectural and data flow diagrams.&middot; Experience building integrations with vendors, and in-house APIs.&middot; Knowledge in performance, scalability, enterprise system architecture, and engineering best practices.&middot; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills working across multiple geographies.Desired Skills:&middot; Proficiency with PHPUnit/Pest testing.&middot; Proficiency with Nuxt, .NET Core (C#).&middot; Proficiency in Azure Cloud including App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Monitoring, Blob Storage, Event Grid.&middot; Experience optimizing applications or systems to maximize performance at scale.&middot; Working knowledge of Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech.&middot; A deep understanding of cross functional teams.&middot; Experience in production deployments and resolving production issues.Job Type: ContractPay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekWork Location: Remote
