Spero Health is seeking a Counselor/Social Worker to join our awesome team in Barbourville!
This position is for a licensed counselor or social worker who supports the mission of &ldquo;Saving Lives, Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships&rdquo; in an integrated team with patients receiving counseling, case management and medically assisted treatment. The Counselor/Social Worker's responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:<ul><li>
 Conduct initial assessment and ongoing patient care.</li><li>
 Provide counseling to patients through evidenced-based practice.</li><li>
 Provide patient education.</li><li>
 Ensure accountability of treatment program and patient compliance through collaboration.</li><li>
 Assist patients in creating realistic goals toward achieving freedom from addiction.</li><li>
 Act as a clinic resource and assure compliance with HIPPA and CFR42 Part 2 regulations.</li></ul>
Requirements:

LICENSED COUNSELOR/SOCIAL WORKER EDUCATION:<ul><li>
Education: Minimum, Master's Degree in a human services field (psychology, sociology, social work, family studies, human services, counseling, nursing, or another human service degree program related to working with individuals with substance use disorders.</li><li>
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of full-time employment/internship working in a human-services setting OR Master's Degree in behavioral science, as defined above.</li><li>
License: CSW, LCSW, LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, LCADC-A, LCADC</li></ul>
