With the strategic rapid growth of our luxury brands in Qatar at IHG Hotels and Resorts, we are looking for a Telephone Operator with luxury and lifestyle brand hotel experiences to join our team in Doha.

Just a stone&rsquo;s throw from the many favorite sights of the Qatari capital, the hotel will welcome guests and locals to experience its 283 guest rooms, including suites and serviced apartments, and to enjoy a multitude of unique dining options.

Your role will be included but not limited to:
<ul><li>Process all incoming and outgoing calls accurately and courteously</li>
<li>Records and controls accurately wake up calls</li>
<li>Pages guests in co-operation with concerned departments</li>
<li>Assists guests with international calls and directory queries</li>
<li>Calls guests by name whenever possible</li>
<li>Pages staff member when requested</li>
<li>Abides by principles of guest privacy</li>
<li>Handles guests' needs or requests and reports complaints to the Supervisor</li>
<li>Report on logbook daily</li>
<li>Aware of local telephone listings and frequently dialed numbers</li>
<li>Advises defects on switchboard equipment to Supervisor</li>
<li>Attends to all guest queries and requests promptly</li>
<li>Maintains detailed knowledge of the Hotel's fire, life and safety system</li>
<li>Maintain Hotel Information</li>
<li>Provide secretarial services for guests</li>
<li>Efficient in the use of all business center equipment</li>
<li>Handle complaints promptly and follow up thoroughly on action taken</li>
<li>Promote in house service and facilities</li>
<li>Update airline schedules and guides the guest whenever requested</li>
<li>Ensure cleanliness of work area and clean your work area prior to departing</li>
<li>Report daily activities in logbook</li>
</ul>
Required Skills:
<ul><li>Able to read, write and communicate in English</li>
<li>Good communication skills</li>
<li>At least 1 year of similar experience in a hotel industry

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Steward to join the Food &amp; Beverage team at the First Vignette Collection in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Carlton Al Moaibed Hotel). This role is essential in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and operational support within the kitchen and dining areas. Primary Responsibilities:<ul><li>Clean and sanitize all kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware, and equipment in accordance with hotel hygiene standards.</li><li>Ensure all kitchen and food preparation areas are kept clean, organized, and safe at all times.</li><li>Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation and kitchen duties when required.</li><li>Handle waste disposal and recycling procedures in line with hotel and environmental standards.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces.</li><li>Ensure all cleaning chemicals and equipment are used safely and stored properly.</li><li>Report any maintenance issues, unsafe equipment, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.</li><li>Assist in receiving and storing deliveries while ensuring proper hygiene and organization.</li><li>Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health &amp; safety regulations at all times.</li><li>Support the kitchen team during busy operations to ensure smooth workflow.</li><li>Maintain a professional appearance and wear the required uniform and protective equipment.</li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Kitchen Management.</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>Previous experience in a stewarding, kitchen, or cleaning role is preferred but not essential.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physically demanding tasks.</li><li>Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards.</li><li>Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support the kitchen and service teams.</li><li>Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.</li><li>Physically fit and able to stand for long periods, lift items, and perform repetitive tasks.</li><li>Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.</li></ul>

Primary Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare and present food according to hotel standards, ensuring every dish is visually appealing and meets quality expectations.</li><li>Maintain kitchen supplies and equipment, ensure proper storage of ingredients, and minimize waste through efficient kitchen practices.</li><li>Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards to maintain a safe and clean working environment.</li><li>Report any unsafe equipment, low stock levels, maintenance concerns, or safety incidents to the Supervisor or Duty Manager.</li><li>Ensure the kitchen and workstations remain clean and organized at all times while complying with local hygiene regulations.</li><li>Assist with dishwashing, cleaning tasks, and other kitchen duties as required to support smooth daily operations.</li><li>Support the delivery of exceptional guest experiences by assisting with special requests and providing information when required.</li><li>Wear the hotel uniform with pride and maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.</li><li>Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the success of the culinary team.</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent; a culinary qualification or hospitality-related certification is an advantage.</li><li>Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment is preferred; however, motivated candidates with a passion for culinary arts are welcome to apply.</li><li>Ability to lift, push, and pull items up to 50 lbs (23 kg), including standing for extended periods, bending, and kneeling.</li><li>Basic understanding of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards.</li><li>Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.</li><li>Must be available to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.</li><li>Must comply with local food handling regulations and meet the legal requirements applicable to the role.</li><li>Passion for cooking, attention to detail, strong teamwork skills, reliability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality food and service.</li></ul>
