 Based in Doha within the Middle East Business Unit and reporting to the General Counsel of SPIE Global Services Energy in France, the Regional Lawyer will be the head of all legal matters (corporate, contracts, legal affairs and compliance) in the area. The Regional Lawyer's main responsibilities will be:
 
 
 
 
 1. For Corporate/Disputes Matters
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Providing legal secretarial services to SPIE Global Services Energy companies in the Middle East and Asia, including drafting agendas and minutes, approving financial statements, granting mandates/delegations of authority, incorporation of various companies, transfers of shares, and subsequent formalities, etc.;
 </li>
 <li>
 Participating in the execution of extraordinary transactions (mergers, restructurings such as share transfers, etc.);
 </li>
 <li>
 Reviewing, drafting, and monitoring all types of corporate contracts and various documents;
 </li>
 <li>
 Actively participate in the processing and resolution of corporate legal issues encountered by SPIE Global Services Energy in the Middle East and Asia, and work daily to secure the contractual commitments of Group companies and prevent legal risks;
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to the analysis and monitoring of pre-litigation, litigation, and/or transactional procedures;
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in the drafting of commercial leases (initial leases, amendments, etc.);
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to risk analysis in the context of contractual arrangements or growth or restructuring operations (participation in audits, etc.);
 </li>
 <li>
 Update contractual documentation;
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to supporting operational staff to advise them on legal issues encountered;
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 2. Contracts
 
 
 Review, draft, and qualify a wide variety of contracts (MOUs, confidentiality agreements, partnership agreements, service contracts, operations and maintenance contracts, turnkey projects) and participate in their negotiations;
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Review and negotiate bank and parent company guarantees;
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare legal documentation for responses to calls for tenders;
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in the risk review process by identifying legal and contractual risks and providing support to avoid or mitigate these risks, proposing innovative solutions to mitigate them;
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide legal advices.
 </li>

 Your mission will include promoting Compliance Culture by serving as the Compliance Legal Referent for the SPIE Global Services Energy Compliance Officer (i.e., the General Counsel of SPIE Global Services Energy) in the Middle East and Asia region.
 
 
 
 
 
 Profile Required
 
 
 
 With a postgraduate degree (Bac+5) in Business Law and Corporate Law :
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 You have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior legal role, either within a law firm or as in-house counsel.
 </li>
 <li>
 You are ready to take full responsibility for all legal matters across an entire region.
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluency in English is essential for this position, while proficiency in French would be considered a strong asset.
 </li>
 <li>
 You demonstrate excellent analytical and synthesis skills, and are recognized for the quality of your drafting and writing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Pragmatism, adaptability, autonomy, rigor, initiative, and a strong team spirit are the qualities that will enable you to thrive in this role.

 We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Global Services Energy, Qatar, for a:
 
 Manpower Coordinator
 
 
 Operational
 
 Schedule planning and Dawinci System updates.
 
 Prepare, update &amp; maintain work schedule for employees and Contractors/consultants offshore.
 
 Handling of all tasks related to Contractors.
 
 Support and ensure travel for offshore personnel is arranged (flight, hotel, QP pass, visa and exits). Ensuring the best possible service is provided by being on time and obtaining the best possible travel schedule when following Company procedures.
 
 Coordinate inductions and mobilizations for all personnel.
 
 Co-ordinate and arrange training of personnel.
 
 Securing heli bookings for offshore personnel and Consultants whenever required while maintaining a clear overview of heli bookings for scheduled personnel and consultants.
 
 Keep track of QP pass, medical certificates validity and all mandatory POB system requirements.
 
 Book stand by hours for contractors/consultants.
 
 Prepare and circulate end of the month man hour summaries to respective manpower companies to raise invoice.
 
 Administration and coordination of offshore operational requests.
 
 Effective management of manning company and maintain work relationship
 
 Participation in Duty roster.
 
 The operational elements in the position requires 24/7 mindset.
 
 
 Ideally, you will have graduated with a minimum of higher secondary school education plus a three-year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent).
 
 &middot;Minimum 4 years' experience within administration. &middot;Minimum 5 years of experience working with rigging and lifting tasks, preferably from the Oil and Gas industry.
