 We are looking for an experienced Director of Procurement to join our team in Danielson, CT. This role is 100% on site.
 
 
 
 As The Director Of Procurement For SPIROL You Will
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop and execute a global procurement process that delivers world-class results. You will be the subject matter expert as it relates to metals and material management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with all SPIROL sites globally, identifying and implementing sourcing strategies with a focus on reduced total cost of ownership and supply chain risks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead category and commodity strategies, including spend analysis, benchmarking and market analysis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide strategic direction and tactical direction with regard to metal and metal surface treatments throughout SPIROL.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proactively monitor and report on all factors which could impact supply (legislative, environmental, political, geographic, supplier issues) and communicate effectively with the global team.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 The Successful Candidate Will Have
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics or Logistics.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated knowledge of technical materials management.
 </li>
 <li>
 8+ years of experience with global procurement and global sourcing strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience and working knowledge with Quality Management Systems, with demonstrated strong ISO9001, IATF16949 and AS9100 capabilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Expert analytical skills.
