The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing excellent customer service while mixing and serving food and drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) to patrons</div>
What You'll Bring:
<ul><li>Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of Casino.</li><li>
Prepare cocktails for cocktail servers and guests of the Spokane Tribe Casino using prescribed recipes.</li><li>
Maintain equipment in an orderly manner. Advise Beverage Manager of any equipment needs or repairs required.
</li><li>Interact with guests in a manner which makes them feel comfortable and welcome. Comply with company vision and mission to provide top notch customer service.</li><li>
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.</li><li>
Monitor proper par levels of all supplies at assigned bars.</li><li>
Communicate any problems or situations detrimental to property to immediate supervisor.</li><li>
Responsible for the security and accuracy of assigned bank and is accountable for all overages and shortages.</li></ul><div><b>
WORKING CONDITIONS</b></div><ul><li>
Work in environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds and smoke, the severity of which depends upon customer volume.</li><li>
Communicate effectively always, with customers as well as all levels of employees.</li><li>
Observe and direct actions of barbacks and to inspect and maintain areas for which responsible.</li><li>
Distinguish between different denominations of currency and make change.</li><li>

Use the equipment associated with the position, including but not limited to cash register and all bar equipment.</li><li>

Regulatory &amp; Compliance Responsibilities:

Knowledge of and ability to mix a wide variety of drinks.</li><li>
The skills and abilities necessary for effective performance within this position are typically acquired through five (5) years bartending or similar experience or through progressive promotion and training within the Food &amp; Beverage department.</li><li>
Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Able to Multitask in a fast-paced environment</li><li>
Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels</li></ul><div><b>

POSITION SUMMARY</b></div><div>
Under the direction of the Controller, the Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the smooth running of the financial operations of STRC by ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of vendor, purchase orders, expense reimbursements, and payments. This role is highly detail-oriented and requires balancing strong accounting knowledge with exceptional guest service to both internal departments and external vendors.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES</b></div><ul><li>
Promote and support a culture of excellence at Spokane Tribe Resort &amp; Casino by modeling STRC values, delivering exceptional guest service, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.</li><li>
Provide exceptional guest service throughout all interactions.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming regulations, internal controls, and departmental policies, including requirements of the Gaming Commission and applicable state and federal authorities.</li><li>
Review, code, and enter invoices, purchase orders, contracts, and credit-card statements into the accounting system.</li><li>
Validate appropriate approvals, match invoices to purchase orders and receivers for accuracy.</li><li>
Monitor due dates and schedule timely check runs, ACH, or electronic payments to vendors.</li><li>
Reconcile vendor statements, research and resolve discrepancies, and track credits, discounts, and returns.</li><li>
Maintain accurate and audit-ready documentation of all payables in compliance with STRC internal controls, GAAP, and departmental SOPs.</li><li>
Partner with department leaders to address purchase or payment questions and provide guidance on proper coding.</li><li>
Respond promptly and professionally to vendor and internal inquiries to maintain strong relationships and guest service standards.</li><li>
Assist with month-end accruals, reconciliations, reporting requirements, and year-end close.</li><li>
Support internal and external audits by providing requested AP records, reports, and explanations.</li><li>
Maintain a current file of contracts and verify vendor billing against executed terms.</li><li>
Ensure all activities comply with all applicable regulations and maintain appropriate records.</li><li>
Use STRC's accounting, ERP, and document-management software to process payables and support paperless workflows.</li><li>
Protect confidentiality and data integrity in all financial records and transactions.</li><li>
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in AP processes and recommend solutions to leadership.</li><li>
Provide support for special projects, system upgrades, or process enhancements as assigned.</li><li>
Adhere to departmental policies, established deadlines, and high standards of accuracy under high-volume or time-sensitive conditions.</li><li>
Demonstrate dependability and reliability by maintaining regular, punctual attendance and consistently fulfilling assigned shifts and responsibilities.</li><li>
Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive and safe work environment; promote healthy team member relations and report concerns to appropriate personnel.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS</b></div><div><b>
Education &amp; Experience</b></div><ul><li>
High School diploma or GED; College degree in accounting or related, preferred.
</li><li>Two (2) years of accounts payable or general accounting experience, preferably in a casino or hospitality environment.</li><li>
Willing and available to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events</li></ul><p><b>
Skills, Abilities &amp; Competencies</b></p><ul><li>
Proficient knowledge of AP software and ERP/Accounting Platforms.</li><li>
Advanced knowledge and skills using MS Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs)</li><li>
Proficiency in 10-key by touch.</li><li>
Advanced numerical acumen and accuracy.</li><li>
Strong organizational, analytical thinking, and administrative skills, including documentation, recordkeeping, and attention to detail.</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.</li><li>
Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and external contacts. Read, write, and speak English fluently.</li><li>
