What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing</b></p><ul><li>
Assist physical therapists with designated aspects of patient care and serving our patients to ensure safety, successful execution of exercise, and a positive outcome</li><li>
Instruct, motivate, and assist patients to learn and improve functional activities such as perambulation, transfer, ambulation, and daily-living activities.</li><li>
Safeguard, motivate, and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities under direction of professional staff. Will be required to demonstrate correct activity form or function.</li><li>
Observe the patient during various physical activities designed in the treatment plan, compiling progress on patients&rsquo; response to treatment.</li><li>
Effectively communicate patient progress and reactions to treatment to the therapist.</li></ul><p>

<p>As a vital part of our Full Revenue Cycle Billing Team, you'll serve as the communication and coordination hub between injured workers, employers, case managers, providers, insurance carriers, and clinic teams. Your work will directly support timely care, accurate billing, and exceptional patient experiences throughout the workers' compensation journey.</p>
<p>In this role, you will:</p>
<ul><li>Coordinate communication between patients, adjusters, nurse case managers, providers, employers, clearinghouses, and payers regarding eligibility, authorizations, treatment approvals, claims status, and denials.</li>
<li>Verify workers' compensation coverage, medical benefits, claim details, and authorization requirements.</li>
<li>Manage inbound calls with professionalism, urgency, and exceptional customer service.</li>
<li>Obtain prior authorizations when necessary for evaluations, and therapy services based on a treatment plan.</li>
<li>Perform ongoing re-verification of benefits and claim eligibility for active workers' compensation cases.</li>
