We're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Back-End Developer to build the robust and scalable services that power our sports software. If you thrive on building high-performance, resilient systems and have a passion for sports, we want to hear from you.This is a full-time contracted role.What You'll Do:<ul><li>Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable back-end services using Node.js + NestJS (TypeScript).</li><li>Work with both SQL (Postgres/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, designing schemas and optimizing queries for speed.</li><li>Architect and implement microservices using event-driven systems and technologies like gRPC and RabbitMQ.</li><li>Secure our APIs with robust authentication and authorization protocols (JWT, OAuth, ABAC/RBAC).</li><li>Build real-time services using WebSockets to handle live data feeds.</li><li>Implement containerized deployments with Docker and manage CI/CD pipelines.</li></ul>Required Skills:<ul><li>Strong experience in Node.js + NestJS (TypeScript).</li><li>Proficiency with MongoDB + SQL (MySQL/Postgres).</li><li>Deep understanding of microservices architecture and secure API design.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and robust testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest).</li><li>A base knowledge of Laravel / PHP technology would be advantageous.</li></ul>How to Apply:A passion for sports or prior experience with sports data/software is a major plus.Job Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Are you available to work straight away?</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>backend: 5 years (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>English (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
