Inline Warehouse is seeking a versatile Web Content Editor to create engaging product descriptions, web content, and social media campaigns with a strong focus on Derby (roller skating) and inline fitness and street skating products. Hockey knowledge is also a plus.This role develops trend-driven content across all digital channels, manages posting calendars, partners with creative teams, and appears in photo and video features and how-to content - especially for gear and products in these key categories. You&rsquo;ll research and write clear, accurate product information, support website merchandising, maintain a consistent brand voice, and apply SEO best practices. Looking for a creative storyteller with strong communication, organizational, on-camera skills and a passion for skating.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Social Media Content<ul><li>
Coordinate social media campaigns and manage posting schedules across all platforms.</li><li>
Develop unique, creative content that identifies and leverages emerging trends to attract, engage, and grow target audiences.</li><li>
Write scripts and appear in video content, including instructional how-to videos and product features.</li><li>
Maintain social media project timelines and content calendars using Asana.</li><li>
Collaborate closely with photo and video production teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.</li><li>
Engage with vendors and affiliates to maximize reach, engagement, and cross-promotional opportunities.</li><li>
Build and maintain relationships with influencers, coordinating contests, giveaways, and other promotional initiatives.</li><li>
Respond to customer inquiries across social channels in alignment with company policies, procedures, core values, and brand voice.</li><li>
Promptly notify supervisors of any website or service issues requiring immediate attention.</li><li>
Demonstrate strong customer service skills in all digital interactions.</li><li>
Actively engage on social media accounts through posting, liking, and commenting to grow community presence.</li></ul>
Web Content<ul><li>
Write original product descriptions that clearly and accurately communicate key features and benefits, align with brand voice and content guidelines, and reflect customer needs and expectations.</li><li>
Accurately obtain, research, and document technical product details, including measurements and specifications, ensuring consistency and clarity.</li><li>
Assist in creating and editing engaging website articles and written content that support the web content strategy, increase traffic, and enhance brand visibility.</li><li>
Support website merchandising by organizing products within category and portal page structures, maintaining accurate listings, updating images, and ensuring an optimal online presentation.</li><li>
Maintain ongoing product information, including categories, images, and display details, ensuring alignment with brand standards and user experience best practices.</li><li>
Participate in video production tasks for the website, including planning, scripting, and on-camera involvement, as assigned.</li><li>
Coordinate and source images and graphics for use across the website and digital platforms, collaborating with relevant departments to ensure cohesive visual presentation.</li><li>
Edit written content and contribute constructive feedback during the creation of images, graphics, and videos to maintain content quality and alignment with brand standards.</li><li>

Test various products, evaluating user experience and providing detailed feedback through the company website and video reviews.</li><li>
Assess the target customer for each product, determine its alignment with the intended audience, and identify the most suitable audience if there is a mismatch.</li><li>
Assist with creating product files in POS software.</li></ul>
Product Knowledge<ul><li>
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of products and brands to effectively communicate their functions, features, and benefits through written content and video presentations.</li><li>
Participate in vendor sell-in meetings and training sessions as needed to stay informed about new product launches and updates.</li><li>

This is an inclusive and team-oriented environment, where communication and collaboration are key. The office is designed to promote both focused work and creative brainstorming. This position may require on-camera assignments which involve recording the employee with photography/videography equipment. The role may require travel via vehicle to off-site shooting locations. The employee may need to test a variety of products such as, but not limited to, shoes and clothing.
