<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">Purpose of Position:</h2>
Supports the Asset Protection team and Store Management by executing core responsibilities, focused on acting as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty and critical incidents. Supports a positive customer shopping experience in the store and maintains a strong store partnership with store teams and asset protection. Exercises sound judgment in decision-making to ensure their safety, the safety of others, and the protection of the Company brand. Adheres to Company policies and maintains and supports Company culture and values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
<ul><li>Maintains a proper and professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store</li></ul>
<ul><li>Act as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty</li></ul>
<ul><li>Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide</li></ul>
<ul><li>Wear a complete Company approved uniform</li></ul>
<ul><li>Greet customers appropriately, demonstrate courtesy and respect</li></ul>
<ul><li>Establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a department</li></ul>
<ul><li>Respond to customer requests for assistance by referring customers to store management or customer service via a Company issued radio</li></ul>
<ul><li>Observe and report any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to Security Operations Center and store management</li></ul>
<ul><li>Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management</li></ul>
<ul><li>Adhere to all Company Policy and Procedure</li></ul>
<ul><li>Document required incidents</li></ul>
<ul><li>Performs other duties as assigned</li></ul>
<ul><li>Coordinate efforts to manage or respond to crises (e.g., violent crimes, natural disasters).</li></ul>
