Territory Sales Representative / Restaurant Specialist</h1>
At SpotOn, you will be working in your local assigned territory and responsible for promoting our full product suite while building positive relationships with local businesses &amp; restaurant owners to help take their businesses to the next level. We're looking for motivated individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit who excel at developing new relationships, deeply understand SMB's biggest challenges, and have the drive to make a significant impact in their local communities.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Be a local representative for SpotOn in your community by offering advanced technology to local business owners that will help run and grow their businesses</li><li>
Travel to and from client sites within a designated geographical territory to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new local business owners and merchants</li><li>
Manage the full sales cycle from start to finish with a growing portfolio of clients</li><li>
Hit sales targets, with a particular focus on selling software &amp; point-of-sale solutions along with payment processing</li><li>
Work closely with our extended Sales Support team to help reach your monthly sales performance goals</li></ul>

2+ years of B2B sales experience with an emphasis on small business owners, merchants, and restaurants</li></ul><ul><li>
Proven track record delivering against sales goals with a metrics-oriented, need-to-win attitude</li><li>
Excellent cold calling, prospecting, and territory buildout experience</li><li>
Proficient in Salesforce as a CRM is a plus</li><li>
Maintain and manage the client relationship in collaboration with our internal support teams to ensure the success &amp; satisfaction of your customer portfolio</li><li>

Compensation:<ul><li>
A full-time, W2 position with an annual salary of $40,000 and total on-target earnings of up to $120,000-$275,000. Total on-target earnings are inclusive of base salary and commission potential.</li><li>
Please note the earnings listed are just one component of a competitive compensation package, which includes company RSUs.</li><li>
Commissions will be paid weekly for new accounts signed, bonuses earned for hardware and implementation, monthly production bonuses, and customer retention.</li><li>

As a Senior Data Engineer on our Data and Reporting team, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, scalable data systems and data infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering leadership, to enhance existing platforms and develop innovative solutions for complex data-driven applications.
On a daily basis you will:<ul><li>
Architect, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for our reporting and analytics platforms.</li><li>
Design and implement data pipelines, ETL processes, and integrations using ClickHouse, Streamkap, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, MongoDB, Kafka, and AWS.</li><li>
Write and Optimize SQL queries that drive merchant reporting outcomes and improve database performance across large-scale, distributed systems.</li><li>
Contribute to defining and refining system architectures, including cloud infrastructure and containerization strategies.</li><li>
Implement robust data observability monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like Grafana, Metaplane, and OpenTelemetry.</li><li>
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, promoting technical excellence and best practices.</li></ul>
What skill are we looking for?<ul><li>
5+ years of professional software and data engineering experience.</li><li>
Proficient in Python; experience with GO and TypeScript or JavaScript is highly beneficial.</li><li>
Extensive experience with databases and data warehouses such as ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.</li><li>
Strong understanding of real-time data streaming and messaging systems, especially Kafka.</li><li>
Experience designing and implementing robust ETL pipelines and handling large-scale data migrations.</li><li>
Familiarity with cloud services, especially AWS, including IAM roles, S3, RDS, and MSK.</li><li>
Proven ability in performance tuning and optimization for high-volume, low-latency data systems.</li><li>
Experience applying core data observability principals to create a transparent and resilient data platform.</li><li>
Comfortable with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.</li><li>
Strong experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and best practices.</li><li>
Deep understanding of software development best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies.</li></ul> 
Perfect candidate also has:<ul><li>
Experience in building frontend components or familiarity with React and Next.js.</li><li>
Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools, including Grafana and OpenTelemetry.</li><li>
Background or interest in data analytics, machine learning applications, and causal analysis.</li><li>
Experience in the restaurant or hospitality technology sector.</li></ul>

Helpdesk Technicians support SpotOn Employees and Contractors both global and local requiring attention to confidentiality. This is a generalist role involving a broad range of tasks. The major portion of the day is spent addressing tickets. Helpdesk also works on recurring tasks and special projects, including handling a wide range of responsibilities within the office to which they are assigned.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Essential Functions</h3><ul><li>
Keep regular office hours in assigned SpotOn office</li><li>
Handling tickets for tasks such as;<ul><li>
User administration (onboarding, offboarding, changes, resets, unlocks, etc)</li><li>
Desktop support (hardware, software, and services)</li><li>
Licensing (provisioning and deprovisioning)</li><li>
Hardware requests</li></ul></li><li>
Asset tracking (assignment, return, retirement)</li><li>
Auditing (User and Accounts)</li><li>
Regular maintenance and patching</li><li>
Basic hardware setup and repair</li></ul>
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 
Intermediate Knowledge of Okta User/Group Management 
Intermediate Knowledge of Google Workspace User/Group Management/Administration 
Intermediate Knowledge of Macintosh and Windows Configuration and Administration 
Moderate Skill in Troubleshooting Desktop Hardware 
Basic Skill in Upgrading and basic repair of PC hardware 
Moderate Knowledge with Networking Technologies 
Moderate Knowledge in VoIP Softphone and Telephony Services 
Good US English verbal and written communication skills (multi-lingual preferred) 
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 
3 year in similar Helpdesk role 
2 years with Google Apps for Business or similar service 
2 years with Okta or similar service 
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
