<div>The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, analyzing, and reporting comprehensive project and program schedules that support organizational planning, execution, and decision-making. This position serves as the organization&rsquo;s subject matter expert for schedule management and Microsoft Project, ensuring schedules accurately reflect scope, resources, dependencies, milestones, risks, and critical paths. The Master Scheduler collaborates with project managers, functional leads, executives, and stakeholders to provide timely, accurate, and actionable schedule information that supports informed decision-making and effective program execution.<br>
Major Duties and Responsibilities</div>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):</b></h3><ul><li>Develop, maintain, and manage complex integrated master schedules (IMS) for multiple projects and programs.</li><li>Build project schedules from work breakdown structures (WBS), project plans, and program requirements.</li><li>Establish logical task sequencing, predecessor/successor relationships, dependencies, milestones, constraints, and resource assignments.</li><li>Maintain schedule integrity through regular validation, quality assurance, and configuration management practices.</li><li>Perform critical path, float, schedule variance, and trend analyses to identify potential risks and impacts to project execution.</li><li>Develop and maintain schedule baselines and document approved schedule changes.</li><li>Conduct schedule status reviews with project managers, functional managers, and leadership.</li><li>Prepare executive-level schedule reports, dashboards, and briefings.</li><li>Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation strategies.</li><li>Ensure schedule alignment with organizational priorities, resource availability, and program objectives.</li><li>Provide expert guidance on Microsoft Project functionality, scheduling methodologies, and best practices.</li><li>Develop standardized scheduling processes, templates, and reporting mechanisms.</li><li>Train project managers and team members in scheduling techniques and Microsoft Project usage.</li><li>Support project planning, resource forecasting, and portfolio-level scheduling activities.</li><li>Coordinate schedule integration across multiple projects to identify interdependencies and resource conflicts.</li><li>Ensure compliance with organizational scheduling standards, policies, and contractual requirements.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):</b></h3><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).</li><li>Extensive experience developing and managing complex project schedules.</li><li>Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project.</li><li>Experience managing integrated master schedules for large, complex programs.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to analyze schedule performance and communicate findings to senior leadership.</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):</b></h3><ul><li>PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification.</li><li>Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).</li><li>Experience supporting government or Department of Defense programs.</li><li>Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Project Online, or Microsoft Project Server.</li><li>Experience with Power BI or other reporting and visualization tools.</li></ul>

This role combines application security engineering, secure software development, vulnerability remediation, monitoring, and compliance support.</div></div>

<div><ul><li><p>Identify, analyze, and remediate critical vulnerabilities, logic flaws, insecure dependencies, and misconfigurations in web applications and APIs.</p>

</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Drive the vulnerability lifecycle through threat modeling, security assessments, and technical validation of remediation actions.</p>
</li>
</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Support secure design patterns, data protection mechanisms, and secure communication protocols across applications and supporting services.</p>

</ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li><p>Review and analyze web server and application logs to detect anomalies and indicators of compromise.</p>
</li>
</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Implement automation scripts for threat intelligence integration and application security monitoring.</p>

</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Participate in audits, risk assessments, and security authorization activities tied to federal frameworks.</p>

</ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div><div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):</b></h3><div><div><div>

<ul><li><p>Minimum of three years of experience in web application security, application security engineering, or secure software development lifecycle work.</p>
</li>
</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Hands-on experience in secure software development, DevSecOps automation, and vulnerability remediation.</p>
</li>
</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Proven experience with .NET technologies, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, representational state transfer (REST) APIs, and structured query language (SQL).</p>
</li>
</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools and scripting languages to automate monitoring and compliance efforts.</p>
</li>
</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Strong understanding of the Open Worldwide Application Security Project (OWASP) Top 10, secure coding standards, web application firewalls (WAFs), file integrity monitoring, and security testing tools.</p>
</li>
</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Ability to perform risk assessments and provide remediation guidance for core systems and dependencies.</p>
</li>
</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, engineering, or a related field.</p>
</li>
</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Ability to meet federal screening and suitability requirements prior to start.</p>
</li>
</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Current security certifications maintained for a minimum of five years, spanning application security (such as CSSLP, GWEB, or CASE), offensive security (such as OSWE or OSCP), and foundational security (such as Security+ or GSEC); expired or never-used certifications will not be considered.</p>
