We seek supervisors of workforce that can preplan, organize, track and audit day to day field operations of workers and hours in commercial systems on-site.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Responsible for great customer relations.</li>
<li>Manage the PM staff and the General Supt. through coaching.</li>
<li>Double checks and accountability based on their job descriptions.</li>
<li>Schedule and attend all monthly DRIVE Meetings.</li>
<li>Schedule, outline &amp; facilitate weekly snapshot meetings (production meetings).</li>
<li>Attend foremen meetings and assist when necessary.</li>
<li>Approve all sub pay applications weekly.</li>
<li>Facilitate and outline pre-planning meetings for projects.</li>
<li>Attend WIP Meetings with General Manager at close of month.</li>
<li>Approve all field raises.</li>
<li>Discover and implement new ways of running our projects to get better.</li>
<li>Discover and implement new ways for our team to be successful in new product lines.</li>
<li>Get involved in teaching and training staff.</li>
<li>Ensure budgets are in line with the estimators margins and if not review with PM &amp; Estimator.</li>
<li>Assign all new projects to PMs.</li>
<li>Assist in Supt. project assignments.</li>
<li>Responsible to remove or help navigate through roadblocks for the team to be successful.</li>
<li>Review walls up payouts.</li>
<li>Responsible for our employee review process and goal setting for direct reports.</li>
<li>Helping out in any way one could for the benefit of the branch and company.</li>
<li>All other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Requirements / Qualifications
<ul><li>Education/Experience: Prior knowledge of construction techniques and scheduling of purchases.</li>
<li>Specific Skills: Ability to work well under pressure, and must have skill in the use of computers and Microsoft Office.</li>

Operations Manager

<div>SPS is looking for a Glass &amp; Panel Project Manager that is knowledgeable in Panel Products, Glass/Glazing, and Curtainwall that provide leadership on assigned projects with the goal of delivering projects on schedule, within budget and that meet the client requirements. The PM will manage the interaction between the project team (suppliers, vendors and subcontractors) and the client regarding the project deliverables, milestones and deliverables in the Southeast Region of the US. Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
<ul><li>Lead the planning and implementation on a project.</li>
<li>Manages client interaction on assigned projects and promotes a positive partnering relationship among all project team members.</li>
<li>Coordinates project scope, complexity, planning and scheduling with client and development of team members.</li>
<li>Ability to identify, mitigate and manage risks associated with assigned projects and their integration into the existing environment.</li>
<li>Develops and maintains the Project Execution Plan.</li>
<li>Manages the project budget development process.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li>
<li>Communicates effectively with all levels and across the organization.</li>
<li>Generate submittals and orders to vendors and submittal returns to and from Architects and clients.</li>
<li>Shop Drawing Submittals, Review and Response of RFIs&rsquo;, ASI, etc.</li>
</ul>
Requirements / Experience
<ul><li>Qualification in project management techniques or equivalent.</li>
<li>Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.</li>
<li>Direct work experience in project management capacity.</li>
<li>Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, change management, project management software.</li>
<li>Proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel, Explorer, Vista, and Outlook.</li>

Glass & Panel Project Manager

<div>SPS is looking for an Estimator which will be responsible for independently delivering an accurate estimate on time. Experience in the Glass, Glazing, Curtain Wall and Metal Panels industry is required. Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Collect Bid Documents (Blueprints, Specifications, Scope of Work) from various sources such as Emails, Client FTP Sites, etc. and organize them on company share drive for each assigned project.</li>
<li>Review drawings and specifications to determine the scope of work and required line items for each takeoff.</li>
<li>Compile a detailed takeoff of all exterior glass, interior glass and potentially, metal panel quantities required for the project. Measurements consist of multiple units such as Square Feet, Lineal Feet, and Count.</li>
<li>Collect material pricing and application instructions from multiple vendors for the various products required on the project. Store and maintain all price quotes in the project file as back-up for future purchasing.</li>
<li>Attend jobsite visits and pre-bid meetings when required.</li>
<li>Review the completed takeoff with Supervisor to ensure that an accurate, comprehensive, and timely estimate is submitted for each project.</li>
<li>Read drawings, conceptualize the building design, and systematically measure.</li>
<li>Monitor the bid dates for each assigned project, to ensure that the takeoff is completed on time.</li>
<li>Communicate with client with questions or clarifications, and organize all responses as part of the bid documents.</li>
</ul>
Requirements / Experience:
<ul><li>Degree in Architectural, Engineering / Construction Management and/or equivalent experience in the construction field.</li>
<li>Strong computer skills required, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows and Bluebeam. Will also be willing and have the ability to adapt to new software programs.</li>
<li>Ability to read drawings, conceptualize the building design, and systematically measure the building components into a presentable format.</li>
<li>Highly organized.</li>
