<div>This position contributes to the mission of Spurwink by ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of financial information. The Payroll Specialist, under the general supervision of the Payroll Manager, is responsible for processing the organization's bi-weekly payroll ensuring the accurate payment and reporting of staff wages.

This is a full-time hourly Monday through Friday position.

DUTIES:
<ul>
<li>Process the bi-weekly payroll for all Spurwink Services employees.</li>
<li>Process paper checks for distribution as necessary.</li>
<li>Maintain compliance with changing tax codes and payroll related regulations.</li>
<li>Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all payroll and employee data.</li>
<li>Assist with the annual financial audit as well as the yearly self-insured worker's compensation audit.</li>
<li>Maintain communication with management and staff via Payroll email box.</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate degree in Finance/Business and/or applied knowledge and experience in the area of payroll. A minimum of (2) years' experience with payroll processing using an electronic payroll processing system in an organization of equivalent size.

Payroll Specialist

<div>Spurwink is hiring Nurses for our soon-to-open Lewiston Crisis Center, which offers a warm, welcoming environment for individuals ages 14+ experience urgent behavioral health needs. As an alternative to hospitalization or law enforcement intervention, we provide stabilization, observation, assessment, and short-term intervention in a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive environment - open 24/7, 365 days a year, promoting safety, dignity, and recovery.

DUTIES:
<ul>
<li>Provide comprehensive nursing care, including education on health, safety wellness, self-management skills, and medication.
</li><li>Effectively engage, assess, monitor, educate, coordinate, and provide interventions for participants and families to improve quality of care and participant health outcomes.</li>
<li>Conduct in-person sessions with participants in the crisis center.</li>
<li>Participates as a member of a multidisciplinary team, by providing health information related to participant medical history and needs, medications, co-morbidities, immunizations, dietary needs, and the behavioral, social, psychological, and environmental determinants of health.</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a registered nurse; or a psychiatric nurse licensed as a registered professional nurse by the state where services are provided and certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a psychiatric and mental health nurse; or a PMH-APRN who is licensed as a nurse practitioner or clinical nurse specialist by the state where services are provided, who has graduated from a child and adolescent or adult psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner or clinical nurse specialist program and is certified by the appropriate national certifying body; or an advanced practice nurse, as defined by the Maine State Board of Nursing.

Nurse - Crisis Center

<div>Come join a vibrant, interdisciplinary team serving the complex needs of adults with behavioral health challenges in the greater Augusta area. We are looking for a collaborative, engaging, and driven care coordinator (case manager) who has their MHRT/C or is MHRT/C eligible.
This position pays $21.00 to $26.00 per hour depending on experience.
DUTIES:<ul><li>
Provide intake/assessment when clients are referred and ongoing assessment as required.</li><li>
Facilitate Individual Service Plan team meetings and develop a plan of care (ISP) for the client with input from the team.
</li><li>Oversee implementation of ISP, monitor and document progress.</li><li>
Participate in a team-based approach to care, by working in collaboration with Clinical Team Leader, Peer Partner, Nurse Care Manager, and Psychiatric and Medical Consultants.</li><li>
Maintain regular contact with all team members and other community professionals involved with the client.</li><li>
Provide support through phone contact and face-to-face meetings through home visits and community outreach. Home visiting required, as well as the ability to work outside traditional work hours to meet clients scheduling needs.</li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates degree is preferred. Experience in the social services field preferred. MHRT/C or MHRT/C eligible. Must maintain a current driver's license and a clean driving record as outlined in Spurwink's Driving Policy.
