JOB DESCRIPTION &ndash; NICU STAFF NURSEPosition: Staff Nurse &ndash; NICU Department: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Reporting To: Nursing Superintendent / NICU Incharge1. Job SummaryThe NICU Staff Nurse is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to critically ill newborns, ensuring close monitoring, timely interventions, and adherence to neonatal care protocols. The role demands high accuracy, compassion, and strong clinical skills in handling premature and high-risk infants.2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Clinical Care<ul><li>Monitor vital signs of neonates including heart rate, temperature, oxygen saturation, and respiration.</li><li>Provide care for premature, low birth weight, and critically ill babies.</li><li>Administer medications, IV fluids, tube feeding, and oxygen therapy as prescribed.</li><li>Assist doctors during neonatal procedures such as intubation, catheterization, and resuscitation.</li><li>Maintain thermoregulation using incubators, warmers, and phototherapy units.</li><li>Handle neonatal emergencies promptly, including CPR and resuscitation.</li></ul>B. Equipment Handling<ul><li>Operate NICU medical equipment such as ventilators, CPAP, syringe pumps, infusion pumps, radiant warmers, monitors, and phototherapy units.</li><li>Ensure proper calibration, cleaning, and functioning of all equipment.</li></ul>C. Documentation &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Maintain accurate nursing notes, observation charts, medication records, and fluid balance charts.</li><li>Report any abnormal findings or critical changes to the doctor and NICU incharge immediately.</li><li>Ensure proper handover during shift changes.</li></ul>D. Infection Control &amp; Safety<ul><li>Follow strict infection control protocols and hand hygiene guidelines.</li><li>Maintain aseptic techniques during all procedures.</li><li>Ensure proper waste management and cleanliness in the NICU environment.</li></ul>E. Family Support &amp; Communication<ul><li>Provide emotional support and education to parents regarding neonatal conditions, feeding methods, and discharge care.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with empathy.</li></ul>F. Team Coordination<ul><li>Work closely with neonatologists, pediatricians, respiratory therapists, and other nursing staff.</li><li>Participate in departmental meetings and continuing nursing education programs.</li></ul>3. Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. 1. Job SummaryThe Junior HR Executive will support day-to-day HR operations, employee documentation, recruitment activities, attendance management, and employee engagement initiatives. The role involves assisting senior HR personnel in implementing HR policies and maintaining smooth HR functioning.2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Recruitment &amp; Onboarding<ul><li>Assist in posting job vacancies and screening resumes.</li><li>Coordinate interviews and follow up with candidates.</li><li>Prepare offer letters, appointment orders, and onboarding documents.</li><li>Conduct joining formalities and maintain employee personnel files.</li></ul>B. Attendance &amp; Leave Management<ul><li>Monitor daily attendance and follow-up on discrepancies.</li><li>Maintain leave records and ensure timely updating in the HR system.</li><li>Coordinate with departments for shift schedules and attendance corrections.</li></ul>C. Employee Records &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Maintain and update employee master data.</li><li>Ensure all HR documents, policies, and forms are properly filed.</li><li>Assist in preparation of HR letters such as experience letters, NOC, ID cards, etc.</li></ul>D. Payroll Support<ul><li>Compile attendance, overtime, and late-coming data for payroll processing.</li><li>Coordinate with accounts team for monthly salary inputs.</li></ul>E. HR Operations &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures.</li><li>Support statutory compliance documentation (PF, ESI, etc.).</li><li>Handle employee queries and provide timely support.</li></ul>F. Employee Engagement &amp; Communication<ul><li>Support HR events, celebrations, and welfare activities.</li><li>Assist in employee grievance handling and escalation to seniors.</li></ul>3.
