Job Description: Senior Manager &ndash; Career Development Centre (CDC), SNISTRole OverviewThe Senior Manager at the Career Development Centre (CDC), SNIST, will play a pivotal role in strengthening industry&ndash;institute partnerships, driving corporate outreach, and ensuring top-tier companies participate in campus recruitment. The ideal candidate will have strong corporate connects, proven networking ability, and experience in bringing reputed organizations for placements, internships, and collaborative programs.Key ResponsibilitiesCorporate Relations &amp; Outreach&middot; Build and sustain strong relationships with industry leaders, HR professionals, and corporate recruiters.&middot; Strategically expand the recruiter base by onboarding top national and multinational companies.&middot; Act as the representative of SNIST at corporate forums, HR summits, and industry events.&middot; Develop Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with companies for long-term partnerships.Placement &amp; Recruitment&middot; Drive and oversee the end-to-end placement process for students across all disciplines.&middot; Ensure high-quality job opportunities and diverse recruiter participation.&middot; Coordinate with corporate partners for pre-placement talks, selection processes, and feedback.Career Development &amp; Training Support&middot; Collaborate with training partners to design industry-aligned training modules.&middot; Provide market insights on emerging job roles and required skill sets.&middot; Guide CDC team and faculty in aligning academic initiatives with industry expectations.Team Leadership&middot; Mentor and supervise placement coordinators and student representatives.&middot; Foster a professional, collaborative, and result-oriented environment within the CDC.&middot; Drive initiatives for alumni engagement and leveraging alumni networks for placements.Qualifications &amp; Skills* Master&rsquo;s degree in Management/HR/Engineering or related field (MBA preferred).* Minimum 8&ndash;12 years of experience in corporate relations, talent acquisition, placements, or HR.* Strong corporate network with proven ability to bring reputed companies for placements.* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.* Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach.* Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels (corporate, academic, and student).Key Competencies&middot; Strong industry presence and networking ability.&middot; Proven track record of achieving placement/industry collaboration targets.&middot; Leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills.&middot; High energy, integrity, and a student-centric outlook.Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person

The role involves building strong relationships with corporate partners, coordinating training and placement activities, and supporting students in their career development journeyKey ResponsibilitiesPlacement Activities&middot; Coordinate and manage campus recruitment drives, internships, and placement processes.&middot; Liaise with companies to bring placement opportunities and expand industry partnerships.&middot; Ensure smooth execution of pre-placement talks, interviews, tests, and selection processes.Data Management &amp; Reporting&middot; Maintain placement records, generate reports, and analyze recruitment statistics.&middot; Prepare weekly &amp; Monthly placement reports and support accreditation-related documentation.&middot; Track alumni for placement and industry connect initiatives.Collaboration &amp; Networking&middot; Work closely with the CDC team and student placement representatives.&middot; Develop industry connections through professional networks.&middot; Represent SNIST at corporate forums, industry meets, and career fairs.Qualifications &amp; Skills&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree (preferably in Management, HR, Engineering, or related field).&middot; Prior experience in placement coordination, training, or corporate relations (preferred).&middot; Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.&middot; Organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.&middot; Proficiency in MS Office, database management, and report preparation.&middot; Passion for student development and commitment to institutional growth.Key Competencies&middot; Student-centric approach with mentoring skills.&middot; Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple stakeholders.&middot; Negotiation and problem-solving skills.&middot; Team player with leadership qualities.Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
