Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented X-Ray Technician to join our medical team. The technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, operating X-ray equipment, ensuring patient safety, and producing high-quality images for accurate medical evaluation. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, good communication skills, and a patient-centric approach.Key ResponsibilitiesRadiographic Procedures<ul><li>Perform X-ray imaging as per physician instructions and diagnostic protocols.</li><li>Position patients correctly to obtain accurate and clear radiographic images.</li><li>Operate and maintain X-ray machines, digital radiography systems, and related equipment.</li><li>Ensure radiation protection measures for patients, staff, and self.</li></ul>Patient Care<ul><li>Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort.</li><li>Verify patient identity and medical history before conducting X-rays.</li><li>Assist patients with limited mobility, including safe transfer to and from the X-ray table.</li><li>Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any distress or emergencies.</li></ul>Image Quality &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Ensure images are of high diagnostic quality and meet radiologist requirements.</li><li>Maintain accurate records, reports, and image files in the PACS/RIS system.</li><li>Follow departmental protocols for film labeling and digital data accuracy.</li></ul>Equipment &amp; Safety Management<ul><li>Perform regular equipment checks and report malfunctions immediately.</li><li>Follow strict radiation safety guidelines and infection control practices.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of X-ray rooms and ensure readiness for procedures.</li></ul>Administrative Support<ul><li>Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and radiologists for patient imaging needs.</li><li>Assist in scheduling imaging procedures when required.</li><li>Manage stock of consumables needed for radiology procedures.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; SkillsEducation &amp; Experience<ul><li>Diploma in Radiology Technology (DRT) / B.Sc. in Radiology or equivalent.</li><li>Valid certification from an authorized radiology council (as per local regulations).</li><li>2&ndash;3 years of experience in diagnostic radiography preferred.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.</li><li>Excellent patient-handling and communication skills.</li><li>Attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environments.</li><li>Familiarity with PACS, CR/DR systems, and radiation safety guidelines.</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Full-time role with rotating shifts.</li><li>May require weekend, night shifts, and on-call duty depending on hospital needs.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;15,086.00 - &#8377;35,089.33 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
