 What You Will Get To Do:

 Performing valuations control functions, including but not limited to:
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide oversight for pricing procedures relating to client&rsquo;s daily/monthly net asset value calculation and internal reporting
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct analytical review across a broad range of products, including Options, FX, Equity, Fixed income, Swaps, Credit Derivatives, Derivatives Options and/or Hard to Value Securities
 </li>
 <li>
 Analysis of pricing discrepancies including valuation tolerance exceptions, stale prices, inadequate pricing support
 </li>
 <li>
 Managing price challenge process with third-party pricing suppliers
 </li>
 <li>
 Working with clients to resolve potentially mis-priced assets and/or unsubstantiated prices
 </li>
 <li>
 Presentation of material discrepancies and findings to clients&rsquo; valuations committee or equivalent authority
 </li>
 <li>
 Ad hoc analysis to respond to clients&rsquo; valuations committee queries
 </li>
 <li>
 Conducting periodic due diligence assessment of market data providers
 </li>
 <li>
 Conducting periodic statistical analysis to assess changes to price tolerance thresholds by product type
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for conducting portfolio testing using multiple price sources to help clients make vendor selections
 </li>
 <li>
 Build excellent client relationships by proactively giving periodic valuations update and provide supporting to adopt valuation governance and procedures that reflect industry best practices
 </li>
 <li>
 Developing business requirements for technology solutions to automating production processes
 </li>
 <li>
 Contributing to management information analysis and reporting
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 
 What You Will Bring:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Undergraduate degree in finance, mathematics, accounting or related discipline. Graduate degree and/or professional certification, e.g., CFA, FRM preferred. Commensurate experience will be considered
 </li>
 <li>
 5+ years relevant experience in a broad range of financial instruments, including equity, fixed income and OTC derivatives products
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with pricing analytics tools, e.g., Bloomberg analytics, Thomson Reuters EIKON, IDC Vantage, QuoteVision
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with interacting with market data providers, e.g.Thomson Reuters, IDC, Bloomberg BVAL, Markit, SuperDerivatives and others
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior supervisory experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical, organizational, verbal and written communications skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to cogently explain and discuss financial information/calculations to different audiences
 </li>
 <li>
 Proactive team player, flexible, dependable, professional attitude, ability to deal with senior management
 </li>

 Implement code (Python, R, Scala, SQL, etc.) for analyzing data and building machine learning and econometric models to solve specific business problems

 Required Experience

 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; or data science practitioner for 3+ years
 </li>
 <li>
 Solid experience in descriptive analytics (reporting, querying, scorecards, dashboard building, visualization, presentations, etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in data mining and data engineering techniques (gathering, preparing, cleansing, and transforming data) to find patterns and build models
 </li>
 <li>
 2+ years of experience in predictive analytics (statistical data modeling, predicting what customers would do, how customers would respond to marketing campaigns, how client experience would improve, etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in supervised methods (classification, regression, causal modeling) and unsupervised methods (clustering, co-occurrence grouping, profiling)
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience programming in R, Scala, Python (Django, Flask, Pyramid, etc.), or similar languages and maintaining code repositories
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience formulating and testing hypotheses using tools like Jupyter notebooks, R, Julio, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create prototype machine learning or statistical models using open-source packages, such as SciKit Learn, PyTorch, Tensorflow, Stan, or equivalent
 
 
 </li>

 Actual base salary will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
 
 
 New York: The expected base salary for the position is between 90,000 USD to 110,000 USD. Other States expected base salary for the position is between 90,000 USD to 110,000 USD. Illinois: The expected base salary for the position is between 90,000 USD to 110,000 USD. Massachusetts: The expected base salary for the position is between 90,000 USD to 110,000 USD.
 
 
 In addition, employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for a discretionary bonus and/or equity awards, such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the company&rsquo;s discretion.
