 We are seeking an experienced
 
 Health &amp; Safety Senior Engineer
 
 to strengthen our safety culture, ensure effective field implementation, and support operational excellence across all departments.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provide expert guidance on routine and non-routine workplace activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead workplace risk assessments and follow-up of control measures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Plan and conduct periodic inspections, track nonconformities and corrective actions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee maintenance, inspection, and measurement activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support H&amp;S trainings and prepare the annual H&amp;S work plan with the workplace physician.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in H&amp;S Committee activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop processes to reduce exposure to occupational hazards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and update H&amp;S procedures and documentation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor departmental KPIs and report to the H&amp;S Chief.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review emergency response plans and participate in drills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct PPE analysis and evaluation matrices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support accident investigations, identify root causes, and ensure system documentation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate updates to the Electronic Work Permit System.
 </li>
 <li>
 Fulfil duties defined under Article 9 of the relevant H&amp;S Regulation.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Required Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 6 years, preferably 8 years of experience in Occupational Health &amp; Safety.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum Intermediate level English is a must. (Speaking, Writing)
 </li>
 <li>
 Mining industry experience is highly preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong command of H&amp;S legislation, risk analysis and root cause analysis methods.
 </li>
 <li>
 Preferably familiar with ATEX/SEVESO and MOC processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong field experience, analytical ability, communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in MS Office; ability to drive manual &amp; automatic vehicles.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Education &amp; Certifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Class A or B Occupational Safety Specialist Certificate approved by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
 </li>
 <li>
 Class B Driver&rsquo;s License.
 </li>
 <li>
 ISO 45001, ISO 9001, NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA (preferred).
 </li>
