<div>Description: St. Croix Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our mental health team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with a variety of mental health conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. 
Flexible Scheduling0.1 - 0.45 FTE
This position is responsible for providing psychiatric evaluation and medications management and monitoring treatment-planning and progress.
Provide direct psychiatry services as needed.<ul><li>
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and integrate information to diagnose mental health disorders in accordance with the DSM and current standards of practice</li><li>
Design individualized care plans and administer medications and psychotherapeutic treatments to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders utilizing best practices and standards of care</li><li>
Monitor treatment-planning efforts and progress</li><li>
Perform required documentation of patient records in a timely and accurate manner</li><li>
Maintain assigned caseload</li><li>
As needed and upon agreement, supervise students and/or serve as collaborating practitioners (e.g. psychiatric nurse practitioners)</li></ul>
Support the organization mission and strategic vision.

Submits recommendations that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of behavioral health services</li><li>

Adhere to legal and ethical requirements including privacy and confidentiality.<ul><li>
Maintains client privacy and confidentiality; Does not share client information without written informed consent from the client-guardian or parent per Wisconsin state administrative code or in compliance with court order</li><li>
Adheres to all relevant ethical standards including but not limited to those of the American Medical Association and America Psychiatric Association</li><li>
Maintains appropriate state licensure</li><li>
Reports violations of ethical behavior</li></ul>
Other duties as assigned.<ul><li>
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including external partners; Address referrals from providers</li><li>

Requirements:

Education &amp; Licensure:<ul><li>
Successful completion of Medical Degree from an accredited training program</li><li>
Successful completion of Psychiatry Residence</li><li>
Board Certification or Board Eligible in Psychiatry</li><li>
Valid and current Wisconsin licensure</li><li>
If practicing in Lindstrom location or via telehealth then valid Minnesota licensure and/or State of Residence Licensure as necessary to Providing Telehealth</li></ul>
Experience:<ul><li>
Minimum of two (2) years post-licensure experience</li></ul>
Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:<ul><li>
Excellent communication and listening skills</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple demands and priorities</li></ul>
Physical Requirements:<ul><li>
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer</li><li>
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times</li></ul>
