Substitute Teachers provide educational instruction to students in assigned age group or subject area for short-term or long-term assignments.</div>

</div><div><p><b>Job Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Plan and deliver educational instruction using the most efficient and effective methodology for the students assigned when regular teacher is unavailable.</li>
<li>Provide corrective feedback to students and re-teach as necessary, to insure students have mastered the objections.</li>
<li>Collaborate and clearly communicate with parents/guardians and other educators to assist the students.</li>
<li>Implement approved-course curriculum.</li>
<li>Implement modifications in a student's education plan as required.</li>
<li>Complete written reports and assigned administrative tasks related to these functions as needed.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned by Principal.</li>

<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree</li>
<li>Florida State Certification (or approved application for Certification)</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written communications skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and in groups.</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multitask.</li>
<li>Knowledge of theory and practice of student learning styles</li>
<li>Ability to remain calm and pleasant under stressful circumstances.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate cooperatively and effectively with staff, students and parents.</li>
<li>Strong computer skills.</li></ul></div>
