This position coordinates the company safety programs by identifying potential areas of company vulnerability and risk, conducting investigations, determining corrective actions, and maintaining accurate records.Qualifications:<ul><li>Degree in area related to business, journalism, or bachelor&rsquo;s degree specialized in a health care related major, or commensurate related experience level</li><li>Familiarity with healthcare laws, regulations and standards preferred</li><li>Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) certification a plus</li><li>Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)</li></ul>Key Responsibilities:Compliance<ul><li>Training Compliance &mdash; Ensure training compliance by tracking completion, maintaining training records, communicating to employees, reporting, and verifying recertification.</li><li>Policy Development &mdash; Create, update, and enforce organizational policies related to safety, compliance, business ethics, codes of conduct, emergency preparedness, and compliance with Federal and State regulatory agencies.</li><li>Compliance Communication Program &mdash; Promoting the use of a compliance hotline, heightened awareness of Standards of Conduct, and understanding new and existing compliance issues and related policies and procedures and overseeing system for handling compliance violations.</li></ul>Safety<ul><li>Workers&rsquo; Compensation &mdash; Manage workers&rsquo; compensation claims, coordinate insurance partners, and ensure timely reporting and follow‑up.</li><li>Safety Manual &amp; SDS Management &mdash; Maintain the organizational Safety Manual, Safety Binder, and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) Binders; ensure accessibility and regulatory compliance.</li><li>Safety Drills &amp; Preparedness &mdash; Plan and execute fire drills, emergency response drills, and evacuation procedures for residents and team members; evaluate performance and implement improvements.</li><li>SHARP Readiness &mdash; Lead SHARP readiness efforts, maintain OSHA plans, conduct job hazard assessments, and coordinate onsite evaluations.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>403(b)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Parental leave</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
