If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about healthcare administration, this is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patient care and organizational success.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and submit accurate medical claims using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with coding standards such as CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9, ICD-10, and DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group) classifications.</li><li>Review medical records and documentation to verify coding accuracy and completeness before billing.</li><li>Follow up on unpaid or denied claims by communicating with insurance providers and patients to resolve discrepancies or issues.</li><li>Maintain detailed records of billing activities, payments received, and outstanding balances for efficient account management.</li><li>Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses or procedures that require additional documentation for proper coding.</li><li>Stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations, coding guidelines, and payer policies to ensure ongoing compliance.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare documentation standards.</li><li>Proficiency in medical coding including CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, ICD coding systems, and DRG classifications.</li><li>Experience with medical billing processes, including claim preparation, submission, follow-up, and collections.</li><li>Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems for efficient data entry and retrieval.</li><li>Ability to interpret complex medical records and accurately assign appropriate codes for reimbursement purposes.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for interacting with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients regarding billing inquiries.</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple claims and deadlines effectively.
