If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for marine mechanics, we want to hear from you!Duties<ul><li>Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on various marine vessels including engines, propulsion systems, electrical systems, and rigging components</li><li>Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately troubleshoot issues</li><li>Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments like calipers and ohmmeters, and welding equipment to complete repairs and fabrication tasks</li><li>Conduct heavy lifting safely while handling large components such as sheet metal or engine parts during maintenance or assembly procedures</li><li>Fabricate or modify parts as needed using welding and sheet metal skills to meet specific vessel requirements</li><li>Assist with vessel assembly, rigging, electrical wiring, soldering connections, and system upgrades to enhance performance</li><li>Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all repairs performed; ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control measures</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and offering maintenance advice to clients</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience as a Service Technician or Marine Mechanic with strong mechanical knowledge of marine engines and systems</li><li>Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams accurately</li><li>Prior military experience or background in heavy vehicle maintenance is highly desirable</li><li>Electrical experience including wiring, soldering, troubleshooting circuits, and using ohmmeters</li><li>Skilled in rigging techniques for lifting or securing heavy components safely during repairs or installation</li><li>Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment (including sheet metal welding), calipers, soldering irons, and precision measuring instruments</li><li>Knowledge of fabrication processes involving sheet metal work and assembly procedures</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in precision tasks</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively</li><li>Experience with vehicle maintenance or industrial machinery is a plus but not mandatory</li></ul>Join us in delivering top-tier marine services by applying your technical expertise in a vibrant environment that values safety, quality craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction.
