What You Can Expect:</b></div><p>
The Boise Labor and Delivery Unit delivers around 350 babies per month. Nurses care for families through an exciting, life changing experience. Our labor nurses are skilled in the high-tech aspects of birthing as well as high touch. Training is provided in therapeutic touch, natural birth support, breathing techniques, water therapy, and supporting women's rituals around birth to help them become the most skillful and supportive nurses possible for every unique birthing experience. 16 LDRs, 3 ORs, 2 Recovery, 10 Triage, and a separate 13 bed Antepartum Unit combine to create the Labor and Delivery department at Boise St. Luke's.</p><div></div><div><b><br>
Qualifications:</b></div><ul><li>
Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing program (ACEN Accreditation Commission of Education in Nursing, CCNE -Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education)</li><li>
Experience: 1 years' experience</li><li>
Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.</li></ul><p></p><div><br>

<div><div>The Patient Access Specialist 2 is responsible for responding to patient, provider, and department/service area needs with a high emphasis on customer service and accuracy. This includes, but is not limited to, registration, complex scheduling, referral coordination, benefit verification, preauthorization, order transcription and general inquiries from patients, providers and the general public.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Shift details:</b> Thursday-Saturday 2100-0700 (9:00pm-7:00am)</div><div></div><div><b><br>
What you can expect from this role:</b></div><ul><li>
Registration, scheduling, and referral coordination for patients</li><li>
Discussions on financial options and/or explanations of insurance coverage, including authorizations, verifications, and estimates</li><li>
Use a variety of technologies, tools and resources to support departmental workflows</li><li>
Serves as a role model, mentor, trainer and/or resource to coworkers</li><li>

Minimum qualifications for this role:</b></div><ul><li>
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
Experience: 1 year relevant experience.</li></ul></div>
