Job Title: Unarmed Security Officer
Location: Dodge City, KS
Schedule: Part-Time - 3rd Shift 
Pay Rate: $15.51 Per Hour

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
The following are the duties that are necessary to satisfy the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned on an as-needed basis.<ul><li>
Responsible for executing security services as outlined in the Post Order Manual and accompanying policy and procedural guidelines and as directed by SMSSI Management.</li><li>
May be responsible for conducting walking patrols of building/facility (or assigned areas within or outside the building/facility) and include vehicular patrols, golf cart patrols and/or bicycle patrols.</li><li>
Responsible for identifying and reporting security threats, unsafe conditions or hazards, and/or other emergency situations.</li><li>
Responsible for site-specific duties and tasks based on assignment, which may include customer service, loss prevention, retail security, lobby/visitor reception, service/freight elevator security, loading dock security, and/or a variety of other safety and security roles.</li><li>
Write detailed, accurate, and legible incident reports during shift, including notation of any unusual activities and how issues were resolved. Responsible for contacting appropriate individuals (Site Supervision, Field Management, etc.) as directed by site post orders or as needed during shift.</li><li>
Responsible for knowing all site-specific policies and procedures, and implementing emergency response activities as appropriate.</li><li>
Responsible for following all company procedures, maintaining acceptable attendance, and adhering to all grooming and customer service standards.</li><li>
Responsible for participating in all company and site required orientation and training programs.</li><li>
Respond to any incidents that occur during shift, in conformity with the Post Orders and the Company&rsquo;s Use of Force Policy, ensuring appropriate action is taken, all reports are properly completed, and appropriate parties are notified in a timely manner.</li><li>

Position Overview:</h3>
We are seeking a reliable and professional Armed Security Officer to join our security team at a manufacturing site in Houston, TX. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the facility, its employees, and assets. This position requires utmost professionalism, a strong commitment to safety, and previous experience in armed security, preferably in a manufacturing setting.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>
Patrol and monitor the manufacturing facility to prevent theft, vandalism, or any unauthorized access.</li><li>

Ability to clear an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) background check.</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle emergency situations calmly and professionally.</li><li>
Must be reliable, punctual, and exhibit excellent communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>

Security&rsquo;s Primary Purpose and Function
The Security Officer is responsible for providing security services at assigned locations with a focus on observing and reporting. Duties include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>
monitoring and reporting all activity, conducting foot patrols, vehicular patrols, golf cart patrols, and/or bicycle patrol of applicable interior and/or exterior areas;</li><li>
reporting suspicious activities, suspicious persons,</li><li>
writing detailed narrative reports,</li><li>
maintaining daily activity reports (DAR&rsquo;s),</li><li>
enforcing post orders, site rules, regulations, policies, procedures,</li><li>
and responding to emergency situations requiring security assistance.</li></ul> 
Position Overview &amp; Scope<ul><li>
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.</li><li>
Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures.</li><li>
Accurately logs inbound / outbound traffic via site specific site procedures through control post, verifying delivery paperwork and notifying operations.</li><li>
Completes all required end of shift incident reports.</li><li>
Provides direction and support to associates needing assistance with security matters.</li><li>
Monitors truck yard activity to ensure the security of the facility, preventing unauthorized access.</li><li>
Reports suspicious activities, safety hazards, unusual circumstances and/or behavior, maintenance issues, accidents, injuries, etc.</li><li>
Conducts visual inspections of vehicles entering and leaving the facility property as directed.</li><li>
Conducts regular and random patrols of the interior and perimeter of the facility and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions.</li><li>
Provides customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.</li></ul>
