San Diego’s St. Paul's PACE program (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly). This innovative program is for individuals 55 years or older, who are living with chronic illness, or disabilities and need coordinated medical care to continue living as independently as possible in their home and community. The healthcare teams at St. Paul’s PACE provide a hands-on approach coordinating medical, social, and home care services so individuals no longer need to manage their medical care alone.
 
This is a Full-Time position in our El Cajon clinic location. The typical schedule will be Monday -Friday from 8:00AM - 4:30PM.
 
Job Summary: 
Under the direction and supervision of the Clinic Supervisor (Registered Nurse), takes vital signs of participants of St. Paul’s PACE. Escorts participants to exam rooms, and prepares participants to be seen in the clinic and assists providers physician and nurses in treatment. Ensures clinic flow for participant/provider visits is efficient and on time. Ensures exam rooms are prepared for provider use and stocked with appropriate supplies. Administers injections, does blood draws, INR’s, finger sticks, and obtains specimens. Responsible for entering all daily activities into electronic health record. Is also able to provide Spanish/English translation when needed.
 
Qualification & Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>Education – Medical Assistant Certification</li>
<li>Experience – A minimum of one year’s experience in working with the frail or elderly population required. Shall have either training or related experience in the job assigned.</li>
<li>Bilingual preferred.</li>

This is a Full Time position with the hours being 2:00PM - 10:30:PM.
 
Job summary: Assists department supervisor in the daily operation and ensuring the health and comfort of the Residents. Adheres to all Federal, State, and local regulations and corporate and facility Policies and Procedures. Assists staff in providing Resident care, which may include meal service, light housekeeping, toileting, personal hygiene and medication assistance.
 
Minimum Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Current California CNA certification. Current First Aid and CPR cards from the American Heart Association.</li>
<li>Successful completion of required Dementia Training.</li>
<li>Must be able to be tactful and courteous at all times with both Residents and employees.</li>
<li>Must be able to respond to Resident’s needs and expectations.</li>
<li>Able to read, write, understand, and speak the English language.</li>
<li>Must be computer literate sufficient to perform all tasks required of the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) System.</li>
</ul>
Education and Experience: 
<ul>
<li>High school graduate or equivalent.</li>
<li>Completion of a formal CNA training program.</li>
<li>A minimum of one-year experience working with the elderly in a skilled nursing or residential care facility preferred.</li>
