This role is a good fit for someone who is reliable, communicates clearly, works well independently, and understands that pets depend on us showing up as promised.Our Team Operates on Three Core PrinciplesReliability Builds Trust Showing up on time and completing every visit as scheduled.Respect the Pet Providing calm, attentive care that prioritizes the animal&rsquo;s comfort and well-being.Clarity Is Kindness Clear communication with clients and the office helps ensure pets receive the care they need.What We Are Looking ForOur Care Team Members should demonstrate:<ul><li>strong reliability and punctuality</li><li>good time management and organization</li><li>comfort working independently</li><li>basic understanding of animal behavior and body language</li><li>ability to follow written and verbal instructions</li><li>comfort using smartphone apps for scheduling, visit reports, and communication</li><li>prompt communication with the office team</li><li>prior animal care experience preferred</li><li>high school diploma or equivalent preferred</li></ul>RequirementsApplicants must have:<ul><li>a valid driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>reliable personal transportation</li><li>a smartphone with internet access</li><li>the ability to travel to client homes throughout their service area</li></ul>ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:<ul><li>traveling to client homes to provide pet care</li><li>providing dog walks, yard time, playtime, and companionship</li><li>cleaning food bowls, feeding areas, and litter boxes</li><li>administering medications as instructed, including pills, liquid, topical medication, and sub-cutaneous injections; training provided</li><li>completing visit reports using the company mobile app</li><li>performing light home care tasks such as bringing in mail, taking trash bins to the curb or back in, and rotating lights</li></ul>Scheduling ExpectationsPet care schedules are based on client needs and includes:<ul><li>morning visits: 5:00 AM to 8:00 AM</li><li>midday visits: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM</li><li>evening visits: 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM</li><li>overnight pet sitting: 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with sleep time expected</li></ul>We are currently hiring for both full-time and part-time positions. Hours and schedules vary based on client demand, availability, service area, and season.Applicants can expect:<ul><li>weekday availability in one or more service windows</li><li>regular weekend availability</li><li>some holiday availability each year</li><li>increased demand during peak travel seasons and major holidays</li></ul>Reliability RequirementBecause pets depend on consistent care, reliability is essential.
