 Role Overview:
 
 
 
 As the
 
 Head of Data
 
 , you will lead and scale our Data Engineering and Analytics functions. You will be responsible for building a high-performing team, driving the data vision, ensuring cost efficiency, and enabling data-driven decision-making across STAGE.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 Leadership &amp; Strategy
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Define and drive the data vision, strategy, and roadmap for STAGE.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead Data Engineering and Analytics teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and impactful data platforms.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing data team through effective hiring, feedback, and career development.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Execution &amp; Delivery
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Oversee the entire data lifecycle: collection, storage, processing, governance, and visualization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Deliver accurate, timely insights and enable self-service analytics across teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Business stakeholders to prioritize initiatives.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Operational Excellence
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Manage budgets and optimize infrastructure and tool costs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish best practices for data quality, privacy, compliance, and security.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build scalable reporting frameworks and ensure operational efficiency.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Stakeholder Management
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Act as a trusted partner to leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making.
 </li>
 <li>
 Align data priorities with overall business objectives.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Desired Skills &amp; Experience:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 10+ years of overall experience
 
 in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or related domains.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum
 
 3 years of proven leadership experience
 
 managing data teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on foundation as a Data Engineer or Data Analyst.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong experience in hiring, mentoring, and team growth.
 </li>
 <li>
 Expertise in
 
 cost management, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with modern data stacks: cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), data warehousing (Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift), and analytics tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
 </li>
