Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about craftsmanship, this is the perfect role for you!Responsibilities<ul><li>Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements</li><li>Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding with accuracy and consistency</li><li>Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble metal parts</li><li>Measure materials with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure exact specifications</li><li>Fabricate sheet metal components, ductwork, piping, and structural assemblies according to industry standards</li><li>Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks</li><li>Conduct quality inspections using schematics, basic math calculations, and mechanical knowledge to verify fit and finish</li><li>Follow ASME codes &amp; standards for welding and fabrication processes while maintaining safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing floors</li><li>Assist in pipe threading, soldering, machining, and assembly activities as needed for project completion</li><li>Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety guidelines</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven construction site experience working with metal fabrication projects or similar environments</li><li>Hands-on experience with MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding processes, and welding techniques</li><li>Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings</li><li>Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment</li><li>Knowledge of rigging procedures, forklift operation, pipe threading, machining processes, soldering techniques, and ductwork fabrication</li><li>Understanding of ASME codes &amp; standards relevant to welding and fabrication work</li><li>Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations in assembly tasks</li><li>Ability to work effectively on construction sites or manufacturing environments while maintaining safety standards</li></ul>Join our team today to contribute your expertise in welding and fabrication!
