 Senior HR Generalist&nbsp;
 
 to lead the HR function for the organization.
 
 
 
 This role will serve as a strategic partner to plant leadership while maintaining a strong hands-on presence on the shop floor. This role will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, compliance, employee engagement, performance management, and HR policy development.
 
 
 
 The ideal candidate has a strong background in
 
 manufacturing HR with private equity owned companies

 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 
 Employee Relations &amp; Engagement
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, investigations, and performance issues
 </li>

 Promote a positive workplace culture that aligns with company values and supports employee engagement and retention
 </li>

 Advise managers and supervisors on best practices for people management, coaching, and communication
 </li>

 Recruitment &amp; Workforce Planning

 Lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried positions, including skilled trades, production, maintenance, and administrative roles
 </li>

 Manage relationships with technical schools and local workforce organizations.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Oversee onboarding and orientation processes to ensure successful new-hire integration
 </li>

 HR Compliance &amp; Policy Management

 Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (FMLA, FLSA, OSHA, ADA, EEOC, etc.)

 Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Manage recordkeeping, audits, and reporting requirements
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Support workplace safety initiatives in collaboration with plant leadership
 </li>

 Performance Management &amp; Development

 Oversee performance review processes and support leadership with goal setting and feedback
 </li>

 Identify training and development needs for employees and supervisors
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives
 </li>

 Compensation, Benefits &amp; HR Administration
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Partner with payroll and benefits providers to ensure accuracy and compliance
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Analyze HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, hiring trends) and provide actionable insights to leadership
 </li>
 
 </ul>
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 
 
 Required
 
 
 
 <ul>
 
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources or a related field
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Experience supporting both hourly and salaried workforces
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Proven ability to handle sensitive employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion
 </li>
 
 </ul>
 
 
 
 Preferred

 HR certification such as
 
 SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR
 
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Experience in a small-to-mid-sized manufacturing organizations owned by private equity
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Experience working with multiple production locations
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement
 </li>
