Physician duties and responsibilities:<ul><li>Providing primary care directly to patients and indirectly by working with Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to formulate treatment plans.</li><li>Participating in community outreach, patient education, and prevention programs.</li><li>Maintaining patient files, encountering information, correspondence, clinical data, and other information in a confidential and careful manner.</li><li>Sharing in the general care and maintenance of clinical areas such as waiting rooms, stock rooms, preoperative rooms, and postoperative rooms.</li><li>Examining the health of a patient to help make proper diagnoses of clinical conditions and prescribing medication, treatments, and follow-up care as required.</li><li>Educating, advising, and empowering patients on preventive healthcare and disease prevention.</li><li>Participating in ongoing learning to help formulate innovative, predictive, and preventive diagnostic or wellness programs.</li><li>Recording and properly filing all patient documentation.</li></ul>Physician skills and qualifications:<ul><li>Ability to administer and develop treatment plans and programs.</li><li>Ability to interact and collaborate respectfully with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>Good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons Association of their province or territory.</li><li>Strong drive for improving and working on professional development.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.</li><li>Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $250,000.00 - $550,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
