The incumbent is responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles. 
As a mixologist you will:<ul><li>
Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks.</li><li>
Prepare alcohol and/or non-alcohol beverages for bar customers.</li><li>
Demonstrate a calm demeanor and thrive in ambiguous situations and during periods of high volume or unusual events.</li><li>
Deliver exceptional customer service by leading with customer connection and responding to customer needs.</li><li>
Serve as a mixology expert and share the story of mixology and the Reserve Caf&eacute; to provide exceptional knowledge of food and beverage menu items, including ideal pairings.</li><li>
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails according to recipes.</li><li>
Peel, slice, and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.</li><li>
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.</li><li>
Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and beverage promotion.</li><li>
Manage the service of alcohol according to all state and federal laws and regulations, as well as company and brand policies and standards.</li><li>
Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.</li><li>
Follow Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, safety, and security.</li><li>
Contribute to a positive team environment.</li><li>
Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments using existing organizational methods.</li><li>

Basic Qualifications<ul><li>
Experience in the service industry (i.e. restaurant, bar, or hospitality)</li><li>
Experience working as a bartender</li><li>
Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language</li><li>
21+ years of age</li><li>
Valid WSLCB Class 12 Mandatory Alcohol Server Training Permit (MAST Permit)</li><li>
Available to work flexible hours, which could include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
Working knowledge of standard drink recipes</li><li>
Working knowledge of spirits, wine and beer</li><li>
Understanding of classes of alcohol, different glasses, brand names and garnishments</li><li>
