The <b>VP of Marketing</b> will architect and lead Outova&rsquo;s enterprise marketing function&mdash;building a unified, product-led brand that defines the future of outdoor living. This role exists to transform Outova from a collection of strong legacy companies into a nationally&mdash;and ultimately globally&mdash;recognized brand capable of commanding a premium market multiple. Achieving this level of brand strength is essential to meeting Outova&rsquo;s growth objectives and fully realizing the value envisioned by its private equity investors.</div><div></div><div><br>
This executive will design and execute strategies that elevate brand equity, strengthen demand generation, and directly drive revenue growth and margin expansion. A key priority will be creating a clear master brand architecture under the Outova name with aligned, high-performing sub-brands, ensuring consistency, differentiation, and commercial leverage across all markets and channels.</div><div></div><div><br>

Key Responsibilities:
</b></div><div>Brand Architecture &amp; Positioning</div><ul><li>
Finalize and implement overarching Outova&rsquo;s brand architecture, messaging hierarchy, and customer promise.</li><li>
Establish clear differentiation and unify multiple legacy brands into one cohesive market identity.</li></ul><div>
Demand Generation &amp; Digital Marketing</div><ul><li>
Build a data-driven demand engine integrating storytelling with digital performance channels (SEO, PPC, paid social, lifecycle marketing).</li><li>
Define marketing metrics and dashboards linking digital performance to sales and margin outcomes.</li></ul><div>
Revenue &amp; Margin Collaboration</div><ul><li>
Partner with Sales and Product teams to drive growth targets and optimize marketing ROI.</li><li>
Translate marketing insights into actionable commercial strategies that increase customer conversion and retention.</li></ul><div>
Website &amp; Digital Experience</div><ul><li>
Lead the redesign and integration of Outova.com and divisional sites into a cohesive, conversion-optimized ecosystem.</li><li>
Ensure consistent user experience and analytics visibility across channels.</li></ul><div>
PR &amp; Thought Leadership</div><ul><li>
Position Outova as the industry authority in outdoor living through earned media, thought leadership, and influencer partnerships.</li><li>
Manage brand reputation and crisis communication as needed.</li></ul><div>
Organization Build-Out &amp; Leadership</div><ul><li>
Design, hire, and develop a world-class marketing team across brand, digital, PR, creative, and analytics.</li><li>
Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and performance.</li><li>
Serve as a core member of the Executive Leadership Team, driving PE-level rigor in planning and reporting.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Qualifications:</b></div><ul><li>
10&ndash;15+ years in marketing leadership, including one VP or CMO role with P&amp;L-adjacent accountability.</li><li>
Proven record of driving brand and commercial transformation in a PE-backed or investor-driven environment.</li><li>
Demonstrated success in brand architecture, digital marketing, PR, and team building.</li><li>
Strong understanding of marketing analytics, ROI modeling, and value-based strategy.</li><li>
Experience integrating marketing strategy with financial and operational planning.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
