<ul><li><b>Education/Experience:</b></li></ul></div><div>
Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in the specific teaching discipline as outlined below.</div><div></div><div><br>
Valid Florida teacher certification or equivalent</div><div>
Maintains a valid Florida Teaching Certificate or appropriate certification.<br>
Valid Florida certification in MATH 6-12 or a certified statement of eligibility to teach in the state of Florida.</div><br>
<ul><li><b>Other Skills/Abilities:</b></li></ul><div>
A record of excellence in professional or teaching career with demonstrated ability to work with colleagues, staff, and community constituents throughout the community. Strong written and oral communication and computer skills required.</div><br>
<ul><li><b>Supervisory Experience:</b></li></ul><div>
No supervisory experience required.</div><br>
<ul><li><b>Language Ability:</b></li></ul><div>
Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in group settings, and to respond to general public, colleagues and students. Excellent English listening and speaking skills required. Ability to work effectively with student, facility, staff and administrators.</div><br>
<ul><li><b>Math Ability:</b></li></ul><div>
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Must have understanding of basic statistics used in data collection.</div><br>
<ul><li><b>Reasoning Ability:</b></li></ul><div>
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram/chart, or schedule form.</div><br>
<ul><li><b>Computer Skills:</b></li></ul><div>
Must demonstrate effective use of instructional technology. To perform this job successfully, the candidate should have basic knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, Internet, e-mail, and presentation software. Candidate should have experience with mobile technology, activboards, and be able to incorporate these technologies into an educational environment.</div><br>
