About Us 
Central State Hospital (CSH) is home to Georgia&rsquo;s maximum secure forensic hospital, located in the Payton B. Cook Building in historic Milledgeville. In addition to providing inpatient psychiatric treatment for individuals referred through the criminal justice system, CSH also operates a fully equipped Dental Clinic within the Cook Building as well as a free-standing community Dental Clinic that serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Clinic Director to oversee and lead both clinics, ensuring the highest standards of dental care for patients and the community.

Key Responsibilities 
As the Dental Clinic Director, you will:
<ul>
<li>Organize, direct, and coordinate dental services across both clinics.</li>
<li>Provide direct patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and management of dental and oral health conditions.</li>
<li>Supervise, mentor, and guide a team of dental staff and support personnel.</li>
<li>Design, fit, and oversee the creation of dental prosthetics, appliances, and restorative treatments.</li>
<li>Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options.</li>
<li>Develop treatment plans and manage complex dental conditions.</li>

Qualifications

<li>Doctorate or professional degree in dentistry (DMD or DDS) from an accredited program.</li>
<li>Minimum of three years of clinical dental experience.</li>

Prosecution - Investigator - Organized Retail Crime

The mission of the Department of Law is to serve the citizens of the State of Georgia by providing legal representation of the highest quality to the agencies, officers and employees of state government and by honorably and vigorously carrying out the constitutional and statutory responsibilities of the Attorney General. The position filled through this announcement will serve in our Prosecution Division, which includes Gangs, Human Trafficking, Public Corruption, White Collar Crimes and Organized Retail Crime. 


Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities: 


Under general supervision, screens and investigates allegations of criminal wrongdoing that are within the jurisdiction of the agency; makes arrests, obtains and serves search warrants, and prepares cases for prosecution.

Maintains and applies professional knowledge of current trends and developments related to work assignment. 


Responds to assignments and requests for assistance by reviewing documentation, conducting interviews of victims, witnesses and suspects, and gathering intelligence information. 


Obtains and executes search and arrest warrants. 


Follows appropriate laws, guidelines, and policies in maintaining the chain of custody of evidence. 


Collects, reviews, and evaluates physical and electronic evidence. 


Assists in identifying potential assets subject to seizure and may conduct asset seizures. 


Assists the appropriate entities and parties in submitting, organizing, analyzing, and processing items of evidence and other documentation for investigation and prosecutorial purposes. 


Demonstrates knowledge of computer software in creating databases, spreadsheets, graphs, presentations and all other computer skills necessary to conduct criminal investigations. 


Prepares thorough and accurate case reports for all investigative activities in a timely manner, including: reports documenting interviews of victims, witnesses and suspects and reports documenting the execution of search warrants and the seizure of evidence. 


Presents accurate courtroom testimony utilizing proper courtroom demeanor and assists prosecutors in coordinating pre-trial activities. 


Locates victims and witnesses for trial preparation and trial. 


Maintains assigned equipment based on Department policy and standards. 


Participates in seminars and professional meetings, including law enforcement intelligence meetings, when available and approved in advance. 


Maintains professional knowledge by reading up-to-date articles, books, and periodicals as well as attending available subject matter trainings. 


Interacts with all levels of state and local government in a way that promotes respect, encourages cooperation, and contributes to excellent performance. 


Maintains relationships and liaisons with other agencies, departments, and the public according to Division requirements. 


Maintains P.O.S.T. Certification and a valid driver&rsquo;s license; completes mandatory in-service training required each year; and fulfills firearms qualification as required.

Under broad supervision, performs paraprofessional accounting and fiscal control functions, such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll preparation, budget monitoring or related processes.  Essential Functions:

 Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a business curriculum or related field from an accredited college or university OR Associate's degree in a business curriculum or related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of experience performing accounting and/or fiscal control functions OR High school diploma or GED AND Four years of experience performing accounting and/or fiscal control functions OR One year of experience required at the lower level Financial Ops Generalist 2 (FIT021) or position equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration and three years&rsquo; of financial management experience OR Associate&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration and five years&rsquo; of financial management experience OR seven years (7) of financial management experience, preferably in state government with career progression. Working knowledge of Peoplesoft Financials; Strong computer skills: Microsoft Access, Excel and Word; Knowledge of standard operating procedures; coding terminology and accounting principles; Excellent record keeping, oral and written communication; Strong customer service skills; Experience with Georgia Travel &amp; Expense (Concur), BudgetNet, BudgetTool and Laserfiche or other Electronic File Management System
