Purpose of Position
This position is responsible for delivering and/or coordinating services to students and participants with disabilities, overseeing student/participant progress, and ensuring services are delivered according to each student&rsquo;s/participant&rsquo;s plan. The role involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including management personnel, Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors, other VR Coordinators, and Technical Records Specialists. In addition, this role may act as a liaison with educational institutions, employers, public agencies, community partners, and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate student/participant access to pre-employment transition services. The Pre-ETS role also emphasizes hands-on instruction, workshops, and facilitating work-based learning experiences to develop student&rsquo;s skills and prepare them for employment.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Service Delivery &amp; Caseload Coordination : Provide individual and group vocational and career services tailored to student&rsquo;s/participant&rsquo;s strengths and goals, including workshops and activities that develop workplace skills, coordination for a caseload of students/participants, and ensuring timely delivery of services aligned with each student&rsquo;s/participant&rsquo;s Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE) and/or Pre-ETS goals.
</li><li>Workplace Readiness Training : Organize and conduct training sessions to enhance job readiness, including resume writing, interview skills, job searching, teamwork, and professional communication.
</li><li>Self-Advocacy Instruction : Coach students/participants on self-advocacy skills, empowering them to understand their rights and effectively communicate their needs in educational and workplace settings.
</li><li>Enrollment Counseling : Support students/participants in exploring educational pathways, providing guidance on enrollment, financial aid, and other resources to facilitate post-secondary success.
</li><li>Collaboration with Partners : Partner with school personnel, employers, and community organizations to ensure students/participants receive necessary supports and accommodations. Participate in IEP meetings to provide relevant updates to educational teams.
</li><li>Job Exploration Counseling : Assist students/participants in identifying career interests, exploring job options, and setting realistic career goals aligned with labor market demands.
</li><li>Work-Based Learning Coordination : Facilitate various hands-on learning opportunities for students/participants such as internships, job shadowing, and mentoring . Collaborate with community partners to create and support these experiences.
</li><li>Progress Monitoring &amp; Student Support Coordination : Maintain accurate documentation of services and student/participant progress, adjusting support in collaboration with the service team as needed and may act as the primary contact for students/participants and families, proactively providing support and engagement throughout the Pre-ETS and IDVR process.
</li><li>Documentation and Compliance : Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and documentation standards. Prepare and submit reports to supervisors and stakeholders.
</li><li>Resource Referrals and Advocacy : Connect students/participants and families with community resources and advocate for access to appropriate supports to promote academic and professional success. Provide follow-up support after placement in work-based learning or employment.
</li><li>Professional Development : Engage in ongoing learning to stay current with best practices, labor market trends, and available resources to enhance service quality.
</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned.

</li><li>Completion of a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree program in Vocational Rehabilitation, Special Education, Social Work, Psychology or a related field; or

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
<ul><li>Assess and process referrals for child abuse or neglect and conduct assessment and fact-finding interviews to obtain and assess mental, physical, economic, employment, environmental and social status of client/family/caregiver.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
<ul><li>Provide brief clinical support and psychoeducation to birth, foster, post adoption and other identified caregivers by offering targeted sessions that address immediate concerns and equip them with tools to manage youth behavior effectively.
</li><li>Assist in maintaining stability within their community placements by identifying early signs of distress and intervening with strategies to mitigate potential disruptions. (in person, telecommunication, or phone support)
</li><li>Knowledge of community resources to suggest services in home, office, or virtual settings to maximize accessibility and accommodate the diverse needs of families. (in tandem with regional Case Manager and Intensive Care Coordinator).
</li><li>Deliver clinical support and psychoeducation to birth, foster, post adoption and other identified caregivers during youth transitions from continuum care by ensuring they understand behavioral expectations and best practices for a smooth reintegration.
</li><li>Focus on stabilizing youth post-discharge to prevent re-entry into continuum care through structured check-ins and reinforcement of coping mechanisms.
</li><li>Coordinate with the discharging treatment team to ensure a &ldquo;soft&rdquo; handoff and continuity of care by facilitating a collaborative transition plan that aligns with the youth&rsquo;s therapeutic goals. (working together with DHW Case Manager to coordinate and collaborate for youth/family needs)
</li><li>Dependent upon age, meet with youth to assess treatment readiness and overall treatment needs through structured assessments and goal-setting discussions.
</li><li>Provide short-term clinical intervention to support treatment planning by reinforcing therapeutic strategies and addressing immediate emotional or behavioral concerns.
</li><li>Knowledge of service availability per community which can be accessible in multiple formats: in-home, in-office, and virtually, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to family needs.
</li><li>Families engaged in services will have access to 24-hour helplines for crisis support, offering immediate guidance and intervention when necessary.
</li><li>FSC services will be reviewed by a supervisor every three weeks to assess progress and determine next steps, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
</li><li>Documentation of all interactions, support provided, and coordination efforts will be maintained to ensure continuity and effectiveness of care, utilizing standardized tracking systems and case notes.
</li><li>FSCs will provide timely updates to the regional Case Manager who submitted the request for support through structured reports and scheduled check-ins.
</li><li>Regular communication will include the initial engagement of services, progress updates, and confirmation of transition to long-term community-based support when applicable, ensuring transparency and collaboration.

The Technical Analysis section is responsible for evaluating electric utility wildfire mitigation plans, distribution and transmission investments, capital investments, and the cost-effectiveness of all Demand Side Management (DSM) resources, which includes energy efficiency and demand response. They review new and existing utility programs and track the impact on resource requirements and utility investments. SUMMARY: These positions are assigned to the Idaho Army National Guard (IDARNG) Training Center &ndash; Orchard Range, Orchard Fire and Emergency Services (OF&amp;ES), Idaho Army National Guard (IDARNG), functioning within the State of Idaho &ndash; Military Division. The position is located at the Orchard Combat Training Center (OCTC) Fire Station. The OCTC is an Army National Guard (ARNG) Maneuver Training Center (Heavy). The primary purpose of this position is to provide fire suppression for the OCTC and performing related duties.
Area of responsibility involves approximately 171,000 acres of land consisting of 53,500 acres in the impact area and the remaining 117,900 acres of maneuver area. The OCTC/Training Site contains over 140 permanent, temporary, and semi-permanent structures with approximately 754,503 square feet.
MILITARY DIVISION MANDATORY QUESTIONS:

MANDATORY EXPERIENCE: Must have 6- months of general experience of the knowledge requirements below.
