</li></ul>As a Medical Assistant and public health employee, you will serve an active role in improving the health of your community. As part of a small, but mighty team, you will play a crucial role in supporting nurses, nurse practitioners (NP), and physicians in preparing clients for a range of medical services. This includes guiding patients to examination rooms, collecting preliminary health information, and assisting with various clinical tasks. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing clinic inventory, ensuring that all necessary medical supplies are in stock and readily available. Under the direction of a nurse, NP, or physician, you may administer medications as prescribed and perform phlebotomy tasks such as drawing blood samples. The role requires a thorough understanding of medical protocols, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and care.
This position may include a teleworking option from within Idaho.

Typical Duties:
Candidates must be able to complete the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation and meet all the mandatory qualifications of the position.
<ul><li>Interviews clients and families to gather health information, including reasons for visit, symptoms, medications, and other relevant details
</li><li>Provides translation services as needed to support effective communication between patients and healthcare staff
</li><li>Takes temperatures, weights, blood pressure, and pulses as part of patient assessments
</li><li>Prepares patients for examinations and assists with laboratory work
</li><li>Administers injections, performs venipuncture, and assists providers during examinations or procedures as needed
</li><li>Educates patients under the supervision of nurses, nurse practitioners, or physicians
</li><li>Assists in scheduling patient appointments and referrals
</li><li>Uses electronic medical records (EMR) proficiently, adhering to agency policies and HIPAA regulations for record retrieval and charting
</li><li>Processes refill requests, generates labels, and documents in EMR for provider review and approval
</li><li>Implements infection control procedures and universal precautions while performing duties at SWDH
</li>Maintains CPR certification and is available for general emergency call-backs during national disasters

</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:
You must possess all the minimum qualifications listed below to qualify for this position. Minimum Qualifications (MQ):
<ul><li>Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and certification or registration by either the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) or American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
</li><li>LPN license will be accepted in lieu of AAMA or AMT or ARMA certification
</li></ul>MQ Specialty :
<ul><li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License
</li><li>Fluency in speaking, writing, and/or reading both English and Spanish.
</li></ul>Ideal Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities :
<ul><li>Experience working in a primary care setting
</li><li>Compassion for others, especially the underserved
</li><li>Ability to maintain a team environment
</li><li>Ability to interact well with clients, team members, providers, and community agencies.

This position is not covered by Social Security. Employees do not pay Social Security taxes and will not earn credits toward Social Security retirement, disability, or survivor benefits based on earnings from this job. However, Medicare taxes will still be withheld, and these earnings will count toward Medicare eligibility.

 Position Title: Court Reporter – 1st DistrictLocation: Bonner CountyEffective Date: May 2026 Salary Grade/Range: $33.42/hour regular court reporter $34.88/hour real-time capable court reporter $37.83/hour real-time certified court reporterFLSA Status: CoveredEEO Job Category: Administrative SupportGeneral Position Summary: Provides verbatim reporting and transcribing of court proceedings, hearings and conferences. Reporting may be done in person or remotely. The Court Reporter also provides verbatim reporting and transcribing of grand jury proceedings and termination of parental rights trials in the magistrate division. This position will work and serve under the general supervision of the Administrative District Judge or designee. Travel is expected throughout the surrounding counties.**Anticipated Start Date: After September 4, 2026
 
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
