WHO YOU ARE:<br>
You are a highly motivated professional ready to join the Facilities Operations and Maintenance team. You are a self- starter skilled in the management of HVAC for commercial building maintenance, a leader, a problem solver, and a team player.</p><p><br>
WHAT YOU WILL DO:<br>
The HVAC Mechanic III performs advanced (senior-level) heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) mechanic work. Work involves assigning, scheduling or overseeing the work of staff engaged in the installation, maintenance, repair and service of plant equipment and component parts in units such as heating, air conditioning, ventilation and power distribution systems. May supervise the work of others. Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.</p><div><br>
YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO:<br>
<ul><li>Overhaul and service or coordinate the overhaul and servicing of HVAC equipment.</li><li>Repair, Service, and Maintain the overhaul and servicing of air compressors and pumps associated with HVAC equipment and systems.</li><li>Repair and replace worn or broken parts on condensers, compressors and water and vacuum pumps.</li><li>Repair or adjust valves, piping connections, fittings and couplings.</li><li>Remove and install motors, thermostats, and humidistats.</li><li>Monitor energy consumption of HVAC systems and make recommendations for increased energy efficiency in operations.</li><li>Check gauges and perform preventive maintenance work.</li><li>Maintain records and prepare reports on repairs and service to equipment.</li><li>Assist in developing plans, specifications and estimates of heating, ventilating and air conditioning maintenance and renovation projects.</li><li>Plan and oversee the installation of HVAC systems.</li><li>Plan long-range heating, ventilating and air conditioning maintenance programs.</li><li>Serve as a lead worker providing direction to others.</li><li>Work from blueprints and sketches</li><li>Diagnose malfunctioning equipment</li><li>Prepare reports</li><li>Communicate effectively</li><li>Perform related work as assigned.</li></ul></div><div><br>

WHO WE ARE:<br>
The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) administers the Unemployment Benefits and Tax programs in Texas. Employer-paid state unemployment taxes and reimbursements pay for state unemployment benefits and are an investment in the state workforce. The Tax Employer Services Desk (ESD) is the front line in supporting employers as they navigate day-to-day decisions related to their TAX account and managing unemployment benefit claims. We strive to provide supportive education and guidance to our customers in these areas. TWC is seeking to fill two Customer Service Representative (CSR) II positions responsible for handling Employer inquiries. This position will be reporting to the Tax Department and can reside near any Tele-Center (McAllen, San Antonio), or a Tax office location.</p><p>

<ul><li>Responding to and resolving routine Employer UI/Tax inquiries received both through inbound calls.</li><li>Assisting employers in navigating and becoming self-sufficient in using all employer self-service options available on the TWC website.</li><li>Ensuring a positive and exemplary experience.</li><li>Providing accurate, valid, and complete information to employers using the right methods and tools.</li><li>Maintaining a composed and professional demeanor while handling challenging calls.</li><li>Identifying and escalating priority issues for resolution or coordinating with other departments to assist the employer.</li><li>Documenting all employer contacts and accurately processing documents or pending issues.</li><li>Researching information in Unemployment Tax System to address employer inquiries or issues, as applicable.</li><li>Remaining flexible and assisting with additional tasks as needed for the success of the department and division.</li></ul></div><div><br>
