</b></p><p></p><p><b>About the Team
</b></p><p>The Funds and Liquidity Operations team is responsible for providing analytical and operational support and oversight of SWIB&rsquo;s investments. The primary functions of the team are to support SWIB&rsquo;s collateral management, asset allocation, re-balancing, leverage, liquidity, and treasury activities.
</p><p></p><p><b>Position Overview
</b></p><ul><li>Monitor cash forecasting and instruct cashflows between accounts as appropriate
</li></ul><ul><li>Support monthly rebalances and asset transition activity
</li></ul><ul><li>Facilitate account onboarding and maintenance
</li></ul><ul><li>Operationally support the agency&rsquo;s Securities Finance program
</li></ul><ul><li>Track borrows and loans across all sources and move to minimize borrowing costs
</li></ul><ul><li>Track available High Quality Liquid Assets (HQLA)
</li></ul><ul><li>Provide daily operational support for exchange-traded and over-the-counter derivatives including validation of daily initial and variation margin calculations
</li></ul><ul><li>Serve as operational support for new investment instruments, strategic initiatives and projects
</li></ul><ul><li>Develop procedures and internal control documentation
</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain operational relationships with custodians, FCMs and Prime Brokers
</li></ul><ul><li>Identify operational process improvements and recommend solutions
</li></ul><p></p><p><b>The ideal candidate </b><b>:
</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or equivalent experience
</li></ul><ul><li>Has 2+ years of experience in investment operations or related industry
</li></ul><ul><li>Experience in a variety of asset classes including equities, fixed income, FX, or derivatives (exchanged-traded and over-the-counter) is a plus
</li></ul><ul><li>Has a firm grasp of basic accounting principles
</li></ul><ul><li>Prefer experience with SimCorp Dimension
</li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrates curiosity
</li></ul><ul><li>Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills
</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to be adaptive and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
</li></ul><ul><li>Superb work ethic, attention to detail, team orientation, and commitment to excellence

</div><div></div><div>Pursuant to our Hybrid Remote Work Policy, all staff have the flexibility to work remotely, but are required to have a weekly presence in our offices, the frequency of which is dependent on their distance from office. Staff are not required to reside locally; however, we offer relocation reimbursement to the Dane County area per our policy.
